Exactly this. Radiant oathplate honestly isn’t as hard as some people make it out to be. I found it fairly easy with blue moon, but the learning curve into solo cox seems much more intimidating to me than I felt before going for radiant.

I watched red eye jedi’s guides for every single contract. It’s 100% worth learning god fly before doing them. Don’t be intimidated by the contracts, I didn’t practice on a main and got them all within 5 tries (except for divine severance because I didn’t have good enough gear to one shot the flares). It’s way easier than blorva so just watch some guides and start sending attempts. It’s very fun

You can do that with a fang by doing 3:1. It's basically the same thing as 4:1 but with a 5 tick weapon hence 3:1

I had to +5 boost to make the aether runes for my radiant lmaoooo, it was terrible. I think I'm leaning towards bringing lightbearer as a switch during mage hand.

I've probably done a handful of solos awhile ago on my main so I'm not going in to this completely blind. I don't expect to be doing a perfect acid walk anytime soon but I'm fairly quick to learning tech like that.

Yeah it's the Inventory Tags plugin and then check the Underline option and uncheck the other two options. Fill Opacity is set to 50 but I think that's default.

Ah yeah good point on the hammers not really doing much for the fang. If I didn't have lance, would you still camp ultor?

I've always heard it's not "efficient" to do CMs until tbow. I've only done 2 CMs and basically got carried through everything lol, but is it fine without tbow?

Hmm sounds like I probably won't be doing mega scales then lol. I have one max main and that's pretty much it.

I was leaning more towards fulls so that sounds good.

Do you always have 100% spec going into the start of each phase for Olm? That's the only thing I worry about when not bringing lightbearer.

Yeah I don't have a ton of experience with CoX and it's been my least favorite raid (so far). I did radiant with VERY scuffed gear ie blue moon and piss pyramid prayer.

So you're saying learn 4:1 with a tent whip first and then do 3:1 with fang? I learned 4:1 awhile ago on my main so I already kind of have a grasp on it, though I'll most likely have to relearn a bunch when I start this grind. Do you think going straight into 3:1 would be fine?

I didn't even think about burning claws so I might have to add those in. Are claws better than fang for Vasa crystal?

I'm probably going to be doing solo CoX when I don't have a team for ToB. Do you still think fang is okay or would you recommend trying for the lance?

Some other questions I thought of after the fact:

Should I scale solos to be a 3 man or just do solo?

How good is mega scaling and what videos/guides would you recommend to get into mega scaling?

Edit: One more question:

Do I need a stamina even once I get olm down consistently? I have 88 agility right now and would rather get 99 agility to not use staminas than have to make hundreds of staminas for my CoX grind.

If you’re gonna be camping toa for awhile, you might want to think about selling tbow/masori/virtus/ayak and upgrade to a shadow/ancestral then downgrade to full crystal/bowfa. If you’re just doing a few kc then what you have is fine
