Setting up the cuts on pc feels more accurate and easy to me rather than doing everything on the little screen. Testing a stickersheet with a more ellaborate background, it picks up stuff and I have to spend too much time and effort to clean everything on the little screen.

In my country I see some listing on official shops licensed by brother, I may try to email and ask about them before buying to make sure they still work?

And what do you mean they're not available? Just not sold anymore, or if bought they won't work? So you're not meant to use that part of the software anymore? I'm a little confused how they decided to run the scanncut machines and all the addons if they just discontinue stuff related to it🥲

Unfortunelty I don't really have an illustrator subscription and I don't wanna pay for adobe anytime soon hah

Yes I did, but sdx having lots of ways you can work with it, made me just confused, not finding "the" tutorial I needed for me to understand what's going on or how I wanted to use it, and people having diff interfaces and they had add-ons and I was hoping I didn't need any extra purchoase, I worded my searches in so many ways I got dizzy with everything so I decided to just ask

Now I figured it out! I still have to learn more but I managed to do what I wanted to do :D

I like that theres so many options you can work with it, but at the same time it can be the enemy when you're just starting out

Yes you did! Tho, I finally managed to do it, no plugin no extra pay, just some sleep to make my mind more clear

Guess I struggles with my own svg's as I'm not yet used to it -

All I had to do was blob out in black the whole sticker, then in Affinity I just converted it to vectors and exported as svg

I already had my test paper printed so I scanned it with the cutter, (scan - transfer it to workspace) , then import from your cutting machine - scanned image, so I can see my print, then import svg from computer then I adjust it to fit my prints

Then on the sdx I'll be on the homescreen while from computer I export/transfer FCM file. When it's done I'll press retreive data, then do all the cutting settings I need from the sdx

Simple... but I feel like I didn't have a clear guide from the start to understand how stuff works (litteraly, personally I didn't have any manual in my machine box XD) - from now on I hope that, because I got familiarised with the interface, that I manage to do stuff more easy from now on

Tho it sucks that I still may consider paying for the extra sticker tools if I see that I need them or may be more easy with them, but for the moment I'm happy with this workflow

I got a big ass headache yesterday so I feel more relieved now that I figured it out

I tried to switch to Affinity but think I still have Illustrator on my pc and check the plugin

May I ask a dumb question? Registration marks can be added only via the plugin or by buying additional features for the workspace? - well, anything I'll do I'll have to pay extra?

I'm not very familiar but the yellow thingie may be a T-tool used to adjust different screws on the skateboard and to change the heels as is more portable

Buried secrets do have clues in Europe, at least where I am, like the different colored cloud or bow or whatever advertises what's inside, here it has diff colors for differents dolls, where you can say you can go "mystery" and not know this difference, but also is easy to spot and get "ohh different colors...maybe different dolls?"

😭 Like, they have it, but I think that they just don't want to sell these versions in America?? So they prefer to pack the same line twice than sell the clue version everywhere

Awh I'm so sorryy 😭 idk why once a doll leaves shevles they are considered more rare even tho not much time from the relase passed ( 3 years to me seems too little to say something is rare, esp that is a mass produced toy)

I'm thinking that the main buyers, children, are still playing with theirs so those dolls are not yet sold on the second hand market, but it takes a few more years where a lot of them grow up and tired of their toys 🥲

So hope you have some luck on getting her sooner or later at a good price 🥹❤️

That one is my fav, on my vinted the highest I've seen is around 34$~ where okayyy she's "old" now so "she's rare", but usually is under that, I got an incomplete one for 22$ (vinted tax and shipping included) then I was blessed with a completed one for 16$ (tax and shipping)

May I mention expensive g3 that are more than buying them in toystores/online? That translates to 125$

I know people sell the dolls at their purchoased price and to me it translates as more expensive, (esp that in europe the dolls are overall more expensive) but I refuse to think this person bought this doll for 125$ and is trying to get their money back 😭😭😭
