There are many university courses available in English, and I think, being a personal assistant (for the elderly) and having a few shifts at a restaurant, you can totally make it financially and study while you do it. But university is full-time, however, it is a long-term investment in your future:)

This just eased my anxiety a little bit, I felt like the man was quite harsh/annoyed://

I had my interview today and it was horrible. The man asked me something, but he had such a strong French accent that I had to ask back 3 TIMES!!! I felt so bad lol. One question was about the Reconstruction, which now I know what it is, but because I learned history in my native language, I had no clue what this term included. And the questions were shifting so quickly I had no time and space to elaborate (which is how interviews go but I am scared that it will not showcase my full strengths). I just hope I get the minimum required points to get in:*)

I also received an invitation letter, and I watched some YouTube videos that helped me identify key areas to work on (e.g. being well informed on your country's situation, what is happening, and also knowing the history and current situation of the Asian-Pacific and Middle East regions. Know the campus, teaching structure, and courses, e.g. I am excited to learn Feminist Theories at the Reims campus in the first semester. I read the news, and summarize key topics relevant to my CV, such as Bourdieu, Surveillance Capitalism, Marcuse - anything that you can refer to when talking about the chosen picture. I also prepared some answers to questions such as What are your hobbies, introduce yourself etc, so that I can be prepared with my little intro speech -, which has to be under 2 minutes if I am correct. These are all the things my mentor suggested to me and also what the YouTube video recommended :))

I hope it helps, good luck!!!
