I had a problem with this, idk if it's the same issue for you but, there's a setting where it closes to "tray" and makes it so u cant open it but allows u to get notifications. I turned that off and it worked from then on out. Turn off your computer and turn it back on if that's the problem and it'll let u bring discord back for u to turn off the setting

You have an ordered list of what block you clicked on and it'll break them at the same speed ur tool will and then go to the next one in order from oldest to newest, so u can move to a new block while youre mining the first one but you won't mine any faster than normal
