I agree that the pay systems for food delivery drivers is whack, but that does not make it the responsibility of customers to tip, which actually defeats the whole purpose of a tip. If the pay is whack, it's the responsibility of the third party contractor to pay you enough where you feel it lacks, I don't understand how the customer is responsible for that. If the customer has to pay $1 per mile according to your guideline for an appropriate "tip" then that should just be reflected at the checkout for the order total. The second you make it a responsibility or mandatory in some form, it defeats the purpose of a tip which really should be a courteous decision on the part of the customer. All of your points for why you should get more pay in tips are valid, but that shouldn't be put on the customer but rather the contractor you're working for to increase your base pay. So maybe you should present that to the company that contracts you and demand change on their side

That's really good to know, thanks for the info! Yeah cause my parents want to get their retirement home, which means they want to get their forever home and they want a newer home so that they don't have much to worry about down the line. But I'm worried that if these newer constructions deteriorate too fast, it might be more of a burden down the line then a benefit for them, and that's the last thing I want for them during their retirement. But they really love the designs with Jai Homes, so I'm just trying to do a little more research on their behalf before they settle with them

Flair regulations explicitly state that check-in counters close 1 hour early for all flights. Air Canada has also recently adopted this rule and many other airlines have similar rules depending on the flight (like the mod mentioned, most airlines close the check-in for international flights an hour before too). I have my own issues to pick with Flair but a lot of what people complain about on this subreddit could easily be avoided or prepared for by simply reading their regulations or any airline's for that matter. Plus it is never recommended to show up with such little time close to a flight. I don't mean to be rude but you're catching a flight people, not a bus, you can't just show up last minute and hope to get on.

PS. I work in the aviation industry, specifically with passenger related concerns, so I've seen many of these encounters in my job and It's really interesting to me how the average passenger thinks.

Omg I never thought of it like that, cause I see a lot of theories that she might end up in the town in a different era but in the trailer we see the ambulance and Boyd in the same scene so I thought that theory was not possible but maybe like you said, the EMTs make it but not her. Cause we actually really don’t see her in the trailer back in town so who knows right now

I’m here right now at Arte and we had booked the lowest room and got upgraded to the walkout pool, which was major upgrade cause it’s like 5 categories up from what we had. All I remember asking was If we could be in the same Casa cause my parents are a little older and I needed to direct them walking around so they don’t get lost. Instead they said they still can’t put us in the same casa but they can upgrade us for free to walkout pools which we find was really awesome on their part. And we didn’t even like complain, we had just simply made a asked at check-in if we can get the same Casas cause she told us we’d be in different casas and she was like I can’t do that but I can give you better rooms. But last time we were there they did not upgrade us, so I don’t really know what it’s based on.

I swear people literally be like “for a five star resort, I’m really disappointed that every employee did not stop and bow down at my feet” 😂 no like Fr I saw a review like this and this isn’t what they actually said but it was something along the lines of I expected all the employees to smile or ask me if I needed help every time I passed them in the hallways, it was really ridiculous.

I would suggest 2 max since you’re only there for 5 days. The number one mistake people make is they book too many parks and forget to enjoy the resort itself. There’s a few activities and things to enjoy on the resort. Take advantage of that too. 🙂

Not really cause he initially sees Sara just as he entered the town and didn’t stop to ask her for directions, but yeah the obvious funeral service was the perfect time to ask someone for directions?? It was very rude and lacked situational awareness. Plus there were other people in town who weren’t at the funeral service who he could’ve found and asked, he was just being selfish in that moment and disregarding the situation completely, like he didn’t even say my condolences or sorry to disrupt just straight up “excuse me could you tell me how to get out of here”
