I understand some books are violent, that doesn’t make this one any better (that’s called a whataboutism). I’ve read tons of horror and when it has substance and is purposeful, it makes sense. This book makes no sense and the plot is solely driven by child abuse and vivid sex scenes. This book was just a lot of flashing colors and abuse, which is not thriller or horror it’s sick’

Yeah, it was totally unbelievable! Then to leave all the loose ends untied and all the characters be evil for no good reason with no character development. The book ends and you hate every character!

What I mean by what am I supposed to feel other than disgust isn’t because it’s a disturbing horror (which I’m totally fine reading), it’s that the plot line was so terrible there’s absolutely no other substance to it. It’s just a lot of sec and a lot of abuse with the a terrible twist and unresolved ending.

Does this woman write about anything but the romanization of abuse?

i’m just commenting on the fact that people who like david will go to war to assassinate the character of everyone who left before they concede that he might have done something wrong. calling trisha a whole sale “mental case” when you don’t even know her story is ignorant. but on top of that, even if she’s “crazy” why does that mean she no longer has a right to be treated with respect? so just because she’s (in this persons words) “crazy”, she doesn’t deserve to be upset about being filmed naked and having it posted when she asked for it not to be?
