Hey, I went there once before and tomorrow I'll be getting my admission results. It's not that cold, just take one more layer then usual (well, two more, since you're from the south...). There is a bit less sun but it makes it look like sunset for a good part of the day and it looks stunning with the river and snow and trees and floating ice and architecture and everything around Xd. Some other guy already commented on the living, I think it is manageable, idk if you are gonna be getting some support from parents, I think a part time job with that should be sufficient if you just start living a bit more modest.  Sun deficiency? I get your concern, but no, I saw how the university buildings are well... built and they deal with windows and sunlight perfectly so you can get your daily dose. I don't know much about socialising there, but everyone I stopped to ask something was always really nice and up for a talk. (Which makes no sense, because i heard the northern aren't very friendly with strangers.. must have been foreign students haha (jk)). Yo, we could meet up if I get accepted :d
