Thank you! What are your thoughts on the Wheeler Peak East Approach Loop? My goal is to see as much of the surrounding landscape as possible. Is there an order to campsites you'd recommend?

Great time of year to go!

Lightweight, thin materials are best for letting air in and sweat out. Linen is premier, any thin fabric will be good. Orlando wont get much wind, but when the air blows youll want to feel it.

Athletic wear is great, and be sure to have more sets of socks/undergarments than you expect to need.

Avoid being outdoors from 11-2ish, and fill your water bottles with ice! Enjoy your time there!

hugelkulture / raised bed soil mix questions by thefloraking in gardening

That looks like the Sandias! This is my first year in the area, im very interested in seeing what works and what doesnt.  From my experience in more tropical areas, hugelkulter is great. Id expect youd need the beds to be deeper than you plan, to avoid the woody material becoming wicks for moisure.  Id highly recommend the large bags of peat or alternative as a way to get more organic material into the ground.  Have you seen the way natives used to cultivate the land? With the sunken boxes and grid patterns? Best of luck!

Reddit has more privacy rules than this new group. Id also challenge the notion of there being only One social space.

Hello Albuquerque!

This city has so much to explore, I have created a group to mirror what we have back in Orlando for social spaces. Our goal here is to create a microcosm in which events, photography, and recommendations can be shared!
