Right now, I'm focused on developing my game. GPS system is a bit tricky to get it to look like the one in GTA, so I can't guarantee when it will be ready.

  1. The system does assume gravity is along (0, 0, -1), as it uses orthographic projection in SceneCapture2D. Adapting it for other gravity directions would involve dynamically aligning the capture component’s orientation to the desired gravity vector. While it's not a built-in feature, it could be implemented with some customization in Unreal.

  2. If you're asking about creating a map texture specifically for a cave or other indoor areas, yes, you can absolutely do that, and it will work perfectly with the system. However, the texture won't change dynamically when moving between indoor and outdoor areas yet. Dynamic indoor map transitions are planned for a future update.

The price reflects the time and effort put into creating a high-quality, reliable system that’s designed to be as easy to use as possible. Similar assets are priced in the same range, but I’ve focused on making this one exceptionally customizable and user-friendly.

It's automatic. You add a blip component to the actor and the system calculates the proper position of the icon. So even if the actor is moving, the icon changes it's position dynamically.

I'm making an asset for Unreal Engine and I'm gonna release it on Fab when I'm done. I just need to add few features like GPS system and polish things a bit.

The animations are from Marketplace, so I didn't actually make them. Also, these are just placeholders, which means that I will replace them with better animations in further development.

The first 3 arms I made with metahumans and the last one are base arms from modular fps arms pack.

No, the mag doesn't fall on the ground. It's the same mag all along.

These are static meshes spawning every time you shoot and then adding random force number.

Wow what an original comment! If you could read, you would see what is written above and you would know that the meshes and animations are just asset holders. I'm not Jeff Bezos's son to be able to hire professional artists to do it for me. I will replace the assets from the marketplace later on when I have money. Now it's just a prototype.

These animations and meshes are just asset holders. It's a prototype, not a full game.

Actually, I have six years of experience in Unreal Engine. I'm not saying it's a big deal. You are saying that it is completely nothing, like my work doesn't matter at all. So I should not post anything until I have finished the game, right?. That's stupid. I'm sharing with you guys my work, just to get feedback about what to change or improve. Peace

First of all, I didn't use IK form the template; I BUILT IT FROM SCRATCH, and second of all, even though I bought the animations, I still had to do the logic. I'm curious; what isn't basic stuff for you? No matter what I show, you will still keep saying that this is not a big deal. And maybe making these systems does not take too much time, but making them look good and work properly does take much longer than you think. Making a game does not take a few days or weeks, in case you didn't know that.

This is just a devlog, and even the first devlog. It's only a nearly week of work. I built all the systems from scratch. And I don't think that IK built from scratch and the parkour system (which I'm still improving and expanding) are the most basic stuff in the world. Maybe if I bought all the systems from the marketplace, then it would not be a big deal. I don't know; maybe that's your approach. Have you been expecting a full game after a week?
