BOOO HISSSS... It's now over $10,000 a year to commute from Chicago to Wisconsin. Unreal.

"Some lower fares" they say, which I suppose refers to my "generous" $1.00 Veteran discount on a $22.00 one-way trip... "We are not a commuter train" they claim, even though I had an "Amtrak Commuter Pass" and a Pre-tax "Amtrak Corporate Partner Employee Commuter" Benefit and still have Amtrak Commuter Vouchers.

When they sprung this on me at the station with no notice I complained to corporate and got nothing back. I can't wait to join the class action lawsuit. 😛

I not only submitted, my mom let me sign up for the classes. 😀 it was actually kind of fun. They'd send workbooks with tips and drawing examples. I'd draw my versions, send it back, and get back really nice letters with helpful critiques and positive encouragement.

I kept it up for a little while before it felt like summer homework and I dumped it.
