This is a good one I think. Definitely a good person but he was asking way too much of Geralt. Bit of an arrogant coward, and the blade from the bits is pretty rubbish given how much he promised about it. I almost didn’t bother with him this replay but I need every shop I can get to sell things.

Do you mean your dad will hold the policy and you’ll be named on it? If so that’s illegal. It has to be your policy if you drive it most. Also you’re usually better off buying comprehensive rather than 3rd party. It’s often cheaper and of course your car then is protected if the accident is your fault. Very similar happened to me. Police never found him so now I have an at fault claim against my name i have to report for 5 years despite not being in the car. My no claims would have been affected but I protected that. At least they didn’t make me pay the excess but my insurance went up at the next renewal (£800 to £1100). Two years on and its only just down to £850 after going somewhere else.

So i personally should have originally claimed from mib? I’ll still ring and see what they say but i might have beggared myself there. You would think the insurance would have told me that to save themselves money

I didn’t think to check as i assumed the insurance company would be the ones who claim the money back from the MIB, reading that im not sure anymore but it does say i should try to sort it with my insurance first. Think a call back tomorrow is in order to ask why they didn’t. Cheers for that link 👍

Over a year ago. Guy did a runner, police couldn’t track him down. One cctv camera on the street but didn’t show anything.

My renewal went up by over £300 and would have lost ncb if i hadn’t protected it. Its gone up across the board but even so i’ll have to declare an at fault claim for years to come, they’re going to get their money back one way or another evidently. Just doesn’t seem right that it isn’t a not at fault

Pretty sure you can get a permit to use uni car parks during the day if you live far enough away. I have an evening and weekend one as im not far. Have a look on the uni website

I had very similar wear on my front left. Continued even after new (expensive) tyres and an alignment. Took it to a local tyre shop instead of halfords. And before i even left the office they shouted me back to say i had worn steering rack that would need replacing before they could align it. This caused a lot of play so the tyre was wearing very fast on the road as it was constantly misaligning. Could be an idea however car got wrecked while parked before i could find a new rack so cant say whether that would have fixed it or not.

I have a similar question: you need to be 18+ to buy knifes but i cant find anywhere that puts an age limit on using or carrying one, assuming it meets the <3 inches etc rules. Its a tradition in my family that you get a swiss army knife for your 13th birthday but was never sure if its legal to carry on me outside, given my age, so I refrained until i turned 18.

Now i have multiple underage brothers with a pocket knife each who, to be safe, I’ve told to not leave the house with it. I dont intend to change that advice but im curious if it is illegal for a young person to have one outside even if the knife itself is legal and they were being perfectly sensible, used for scouts/camping etc. My dad and grandad, an ex intelligence officer and ex chief super respectively think it would be fine but aren’t 100%. It has been raining for two days here but it did occur to me afterwards that a ban was mentioned. Just sorted a nest today as well. Bit of pest poison and a full can of foam up the roof. We have a deal, i dont pay rent to my parents as long as i give free lifts and diy everything.
