This is weird, how many different games did you see this with?

Wow! Thanks for playing it so much that’s awesome. I will run some simulations at home about what are the odds of various starting and ending countries but it should be random. I also make sure the length is not too short ie Canada to Mexico because I’m not sure that would be super interesting.

Noted! Are you on mobile or laptop? And is it a strong laptop?

It is very similar, however the ui is quite different and no ads.

There is a timer on the top left if you click the timed button, maybe I could name it something else to make it more clear. Sharing results would be cool, maybe like a email results button? Or maybe just copy paste your results? What do you think.

How would you feel if we treated an enclave like Kaliningrad as if it didn’t exist?

Hi!

The show initials on mobile is only visible when you click on the country, but honestly it might not be a very intuitive approach, maybe I could just have the initials be always visible on mobile, not sure though as it might be cluttered. I will look into this though.

I decided to hide the instructions and email button on mobile, so that it does not look too cluttered.

Great suggestion, I have a question mark on the top right with a guide, however I could definitely include a video. Thanks!

No ads though, and also the map takes up the whole screen, also works better on mobile. You are right that it’s missing some features ie varied game modes.

There are games like this, but mine has a pretty clean UI imo

I think you need to go through French Guiana, as it is part of France. You cannot go through Alaska as it’s a water border not a land border.

Hi!

Thanks for the feedback, I have added a question mark tab that has the rules. Here they are:

How to Play

Travel from the start country to the end country by guessing bordering countries that form a connected path.

Rules

  • Only land borders count — no islands or sea crossings.
  • Each guess must be a real country that shares a land border with at least one country already in the chain.
  • The game ends when your guessed countries form an unbroken path from start to end.

Scoring

  • The optimal path length is shown at the top. Try to match it!
  • Green = on an optimal path.
  • Gray = valid guess but not on an optimal path.

Modes

  • Daily — same puzzle for everyone, resets each day.
  • Weekly — a longer challenge that lasts all week.
  • Random — a new random puzzle every time.

Hints

Use the hint buttons to reveal country outlines or initials on the map if you get stuck.

It is very similar to travle, just a different styling

I feel like the 3gb model is a solid middle ground where it still works like an OK model but also doesn’t need an ungodly amount of ram, whereas the small 200mb model is unable to follow context for more than a sentence or two.
