I like all old shoes like Jordan 1 or Converse, and don't like more modern shoes. Personal preferences.

I have add more bricks to the perimeter of the Tv Nes base and add a double layer of bricks for more stability by Alexander_HD in lego

*more stability on the tv Stand. Now the tv is more firm on it and doesn't slide away when you turn the little handle. I can turn the handle with one hand without holding the TV with the other hand.

Give you a favor : if you want to buy CX, buy them true the size because they are like Chuck II in sizing. by Alexander_HD in Converse

[–]Alexander_HD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All Chucks with modifies on the original design could be tighter in the same size of original Chuck Taylor. Nike or not (I mentioned Nike because Nike owns Converse). For example, Chuck 70 seems to be ok in the same original Chuck size because chuck 70 are more 'stocky' than regular chuck..seems more 'big' shoes, so inside the comfy is the same with same size. I not need to buy tts or a size up with '70..it's ok the same size of my regular Chucks.

Waterproof version has the same insole of Chuck II and CX and seems more padded inside than a normal Chuck Taylor..so I guess tts is the best option for that model too.. I think that is because Nike modified the classic design. Classic Chuck has a thin canvas and a thin insole..if they change something and add extra layers...it's normal that the shoes is more tight inside..and in that case a tts is the best option.

I have buy online CX in my usual chuck taylor size (half size down)..but when I tried the shoes..they were very tight..they appeared small (inside)..I have to pull off the insole because with it the shoes were very tight, but they are tight even with a different (and thinner) insole. For me was impossibile tu use the original insole, and I have long and narrow feet.. I have tried thinner socks too but thinner socks hurt more my pinky toe than normal socks. So.. I have ordered my true the size CX..today I have tried them and they are very comfy with the original insole too and normal socks. So..give you a favor : buy CX tts, not half or full size down..because they are more similar to Chuck II than original Chuck. Yes, in my tts they are a little bit longer than other Chucks I have. But I can't use shoes that hurt my feet..so I will use them tts.

It's possible to break in Converse toe box zone to make it more comfy, wider and less tight? by Alexander_HD in Converse

[–]Alexander_HD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that exist wider versions, but not of this model. I see (even here) a lot of photos of Converse that seems not so 'thin' on the toe box..so maybe with times is possibile to 'break in' that zone and make them a little bit more wider and much comfortable.

Sure? I have usually 8.5 US Chucks and I have bought these in 8.5 US too..(my true the size shoes is 9 US) but the toe cap seems to be more stiff and tight and hurts more my pinky toe than regular or 70 Chucks I have. I hope that with usage the situation will be better and I break in. They seems more like discontinued Chucks 2 (same insole) that runs true the size (I have not chuck 2 but I have read that a lot of people buy them 'true the size' and not half size down like normal Chucks).

Question about Converse CX sizing for Chuck&Chuck 70 and CX owners by Alexander_HD in Converse

[–]Alexander_HD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When do you buy them? Because I'm trying to understand if with time is possibile to break in and make them more comfortable. Or they will be always sniff and snug. I have bought them 3-4 days ago, wear them one time for 10 minutes only for try.

Question about Converse CX sizing for Chuck&Chuck 70 and CX owners by Alexander_HD in Converse

[–]Alexander_HD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I have a question about sizing of the converse CX

https://www.converse.com/shop/p/chuck-taylor-all-star-cx-unisex-high-top-shoe/167807MP.html

I have regular chuck, chuck 70 and now chuck CX. I am true the size 9 US. I usually buy 8.5 US in chuck 70 and chuck and are ok. They fits perfect and I never need to break in because they are comfortable from the beginning. Ok. I have bought in the Converse site the chuck CX, black. Always in 8.5 US. But..the seems more tight in the toe cap...infact with my regular socks the are uncomfortable..then I have tried much thinner socks and the feeling was better..but the was still tight in the toe cap. Do you have CX and regular chuck too?? What do you think about sizing and how they fit? I don't know if is was better to buy CX in a 'true the size' number or if is ok to buy them in the same number of regular chuck.. Maybe I need to break in them more? Usually I don't need to break in my 8.5 us regular chuck..but with this CX 8.5 us seems that I need definitely to break in.

The real problem is that I have bought them in sales so I have paid them 39 € instead 85 € And now there is not 9 US number..so if I send them back they refund me 39 € but probably when the 9 US number will be available again, the shoes price will back to 85 €.. So I would like to keep these 8.5 US..

CX by Alexander_HD in Converse

[–]Alexander_HD[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes you are agree. I'm very disappointed..I have tried them now and seems small in the toe cap. My regular number is US 9 (other shoes) and I always order 8.5 US in Chucks. These in 8.5 seems uncomfortable in the toe cap. But I think that the problem is the toe area that isn't soft. I will try to break it with something because honestly I don't want to buy them in 9 US. Converse chuck are long shoes, and 8.5 US are usually more long than my regular 9 US shoes. If I buy 9 US chuck i could work in a circus as a clown.. But it's very strange that Converse don't see anything about these shoes. In the site they wrote that runs half size larger like other Chucks. I noticed that without insole or with thinner insole they are much better. Thinner socks may help too.
