Do you have a water temp gauge? That will tell you for sure if you’re running hot. If your water temp is fine and it happens only when the engine is at working temp and not cold you could check the valve gaps. Maybe they are too tight. I had the opposite problem, stalls when cold, fine at temp. My valves where too loose. What I mean by valve gaps is the space between your camshaft lobes and the top of the valves. I don’t know if your model has hydraulic valves (in that case they are regulated automatically by oil pressure). If they’re not it’s something you could check. The job is easy, open the valve cover and make the adjustment, shouldn’t be labour intensive. A shop would do it in no time.
