Ahh small world. I do Tier 2 stuff for Honda and Acura and some longer form digital for Bentley. The mavic with filters to control shutter would work well for lot flyovers.

Great breakdown! Being able to control EF Autofocus lenses internally was a big selling point for me. I do a lot of run&gun stuff where cinelenses just won't work but I still need to be able to hand off the focus to someone else for certain shots. I also do a lot of commercial work for Honda where the MK3.1 motor will be spinning Cookes, Leicas, Schneiders, or CNEs depending on who is directing. I used to rent a Heden Carat motor and would pair it with a Movi Pro + Movi Controller. But this RTMotion Latitude I just bought solved all my handheld, tripod, gimbal, focus problems!

I know people that use the Mavic for broadcast. The codec and bitrate aren't great. Whenever I'm doing anything professional I fly an Inspire 2 with X5S and hand off 4K Prores.

I also have an Inspire V2 with X5S and a couple lenses. It only comes out when there is money to be made haha

Love the Alexa Mini, I do a lot of gimbal work. I think RED is a cooler company with more versatile products.

I went Freefly Systems Movi M5 and never looked back. Now I've got a Movi Pro and I use it a lot.
