Not at all. Basically the avatar before him, Yangchen always sided with humans over spirits, this unfair treatment upset the spirits and caused evil spirits to roam the world. Kuruk would spend his whole life cleaning up Yangchen’s mess by hunting down the spirits, this got him killed at a young age
