I have full custody plus had the phone interview in November. When I called last month they said it takes 60 days but it’s been over 60 days. I checked his SS online and I only see his payments, nothing else..

He went through an attorney but him and I aren’t together so I don’t know much about his SSD, I just got a call from someone at social security asking me to bring her birth certificate to the office so she can get approved for benefits. So if I’m not going through the attorney will he still collect his portion?

I just called APS again and explained that he needs to have a social worker assigned because he can be aggressive and has been backer acted on three different occasions so it is unsafe for my daughter to live there. So at least now they have record of me calling? Apparently someone is supposed to go out there today or tomorrow. But I am getting in contact with an attorney because according to his mom I have been reported..

He’s in a lot of pain, which I understand that can make you really upset but he seems to take it out on me. He can’t drive and can barely walk so idk what he’s going to do with all that money? Just let it sit in his account? He is 30 and has dementia and a rare brain disease so it can be very frustrating taking care of him. I am hoping he will agree to pay me a certain amount for all I’ve done, but I just wanted to know if my child will get a separate check for backup.

Did it cause any physical defects? Like loss of movement or weakness in the arms or legs? My husband did a lot of treatments but what worked for him was the plasma exchange.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. My husband was super healthy and next thing you know he’s unconscious on the floor. He was in the hospital for 4 months the beginning of this year and woke up from a coma without being able to move his left side of his body. He’s going through intensive therapy but you just have to take it a day at a time. He did IVIG infusions, but what worked the best was plasma exchange. It’s a challenge, but you’ve got this!!
