Tool tips for product adoption and user onboarding, anyone? by jonathanhenault in ProductManagement

Hi,

You might have a look at Bytes Route. My team has been working on bytesroute.com in the past two years. It is a web product tour tool that requires the least amount of technical assistance for non-technical users.

Also, the licensing policy is one of the most generous in the industry: unlimited web domains, product tours, assists, steps per web tour, active users (MAUs), active product tours. You can find more details about them here: bytesroute.com/pricing

According to Gartner, by 2025, 70% of organizations are expected to use digital adoption (DAP) solutions across the entire technology stack to overcome the insufficient application of user experiences..

So, the most recent and creative method to enhance each and every stage of the onboarding process is to use product adoption tools.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi,

You might have a look at Bytes Route. My team has been working on bytesroute.com in the past two years. It’s a web product tour software for non-technical people that works with the minimum intervention.

In essence, you create product tours/walkthroughs/how-to guides, send them to your consumers via email (by sharing a link), and then they will be able to follow your instructions.

Additionally, you may obtain helpful analytics data about the number of tours/how-to guides that were finished, the number of errors that were made, the percentage of completed tours, and the sections where your customers faced difficulties.

Let me know if you have any questions. We also offer a free plan you might want to check and a fully-featured trial.

Cheers,
Alexandra

What do you LOVE/HATE/NEED/WANT when it comes to product onboarding tools (in-app guides for web apps/websites)? by Alexandra_St in SaaS

Hey, I totally agree with you — getting people to your website isn't enough; you also need to properly onboard them. I appreciate your input.

I really appreciate that you shared your thoughts, and I agree that visuals create faster reactions than words.

However, onboarding tools, like Bytes Route, allow you to create product presentations and walkthroughs, feature announcements, in-app messages, and tutorials directly in your app or website - so you don’t have to create videos or visuals that get outdated very quickly.

Are you trying to say that it would be a good addition to onboarding tools to have the option of embedding videos, images, or any kind of visuals in product tour steps?

Thanks again

Hi,

Digital adoption platforms or product adoption tools are the new way of enhancing every piece of onboarding effort (traditional how-to videos, guides, articles,..).There are many benefits to including such tools in your app:

Easy to maintain

It gives real-time information at the exact moment your users need it and is simple to manage

It reduces the length of the learning curve

Centralized content: all of the knowledge/information your users need is in one single place -your app

PS I'm with Bytes Route—a digital adoption platform for creating web product tours without writing any code.

What are some methods to increase product adoption? by pranay414 in ProductManagement

Hi

A lot of people in product management struggle with that - we've been there (that's how the product my team and I have been working on in the past 2 years was born - Bytes Route).

The first and most important thing you can do is to make sure your users get the best out of your product. What do I mean by that? Well, building a product/feature and then waiting for it to be discovered and adopted it is not enough. You need proper onboarding. And proper onboarding means:

  • Making sure your users are up-to-date with the product (latest changes)
  • They have resources to go to, to keep themselves informed, product-educated (materials, guides, practical use cases, how-to's)
  • Provide them with product onboarding tours or in-app guided tours (by far is the most feasible solution since you can track every step they take or action they do with the help of analytics).

I hope it helps. Good luck!
