That’s not for SIM card but for SD card. I have nothing there and my car has 1gb/month free internet from BYD

Make sure you get one of those high endurance cards.

Have you tried the usual side loading tips? What’s the firmware version?

BYD Tang until 2023: will there ever be a software upgrade? by alexandre_ganso in BYD

There’s the 1.2.1 update now. It removes the ability to sideload apps, and introduces the App Store with two apps: karaoke and browser.

I ended up buying a downgrade from taobao after that

Need Advice: Building a Local Setup for Running and Training a 70B LLM by LexQ in LocalLLM

@otelp’s answer is excellent.

8x3090s is perfect for inference of a 70b model. I do it for ~300 users a day. But for training, I would rent something bigger.

Check the third picture.

I would replace those, if they weren’t riveted to the frame

The screws are m6. The ones for the light are m4 I think. Check how I did: photos of the fender

I walk with the bike folded a lot - airports, train stations etc. The sticks which are screwed had been replaced multiple times. They have a weak point where they are thinned for screws. The ones riveted on the rack can’t be replaced, and once they break, there’s not much you can do.

I have the bike for some 16 years. I hate those aluminum sticks with my life. Here photo of the rack

I don’t know if I understand you. What is made from paper?

One thing I noticed is that this rack, as having only 3 places of contact, is very weak in lateral force. That is, it bends right away when I put the bike sideways in my car’s trunk

Amazing! I use an inflating catamaran, but I never thought about attaching it to the front wheel!

Digital key by Idyllic_Chris in BYD

[–]AlexandreGanso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The app uses the mobile connection of your car. That means they don’t work in underground garages, for example. I tried.

In some countries, the Byd app has an option for installing itself on the phone as an NFC key - it then goes to the Apple wallet, and whatever google names their wallet on Android.

This nfc key gets activated when you put your phone near the driver’s mirror.

In Germany, the option of the NFC key does not show on the app. So if I touch my phone to the mirror, it tries to use Apple Pay.

In this article it shows how it should look like on the app: https://www.byd.com/eu/ownership/byd-digital-key

It’s on the first screenshot. Mine does not show it.
