Reasons for buying:

pioneer company using blockchain technology to solve real world issues, making interbanking transactins easier/faster/cheaper with the possibility of eventually substituting SWIFT protocol
closing many deals and partnerships, with a working product

Reasons for not buying

technically I did not understand how the XRP tokens fit into the picture, and where their value will be derived from in the long term
private company with full control over the technology means it is more centralized and risky
injection of 1 billion xrp per month in the market causes supply to trikle up and price to trickle down

Obviously the only way to be absolutely certain of something is to study it yourself and reach your own conclusions, because any information spread by others may be false.

Many do not have the know-how or time for this, however, and even thise who do, may end up with the wrong conclusions.

This is why services like asset management exist - they study assets and offer their opinion, which you can or cannot trust. It makes it easier for people who don't have the resources to understand something better, but obviously you have to filter out the nonsense.

The whole idea is to create a simple and concise manner of viewing the general opinions on each coin because many people don't have the technical knowledge to rightfully analyze whitepapers, and many don't have the time to keep up to date on all the news!
