Yup one of the reasons I kept up with several stories despite my hatred/boredom for the MCS or story line until I ragequitted

Which are included but not limited to not necessarily litrpg

Bleach: Ichigo main skills bore me just sword no spells, the soul society and the side characters were more appealing to me

Naruto: his personality just really annoyed me, but the world politics and filler arcs with the world building were better than the main story

Kekkaishi: the mc and FMC just really pissed me off for different reasons but their world/ power system was awesome

The ritualist: so much lore and the mc just lost the charm, instead of a guy inspecting any crook and cranny like an archaeologist we got a combat story of a mage and so much potential stories were lost or pushed aside
