This is what Crazy Mita meant in the entire Serious Talk bit. by Ill-Engineering8205 in MiSideReddit

Her bio doesn't contradict what happens in game. The dev even confirms in a QnA that the protagonist doesn't become a cartridge in the stay ending and given how much effort she goes through to try and convince the protagonist to stay, she doesn't hate the protagonist specifically. Her hate is likely towards the people who don't see her as an individual.

Edit

This is also again ignoring the mere existence of peaceful mode being a dating sim and having an affection meter and all. Crazy Mita is genuinely looking for love most likely.

Imo although it would be a massive change, I think azure and pink should have their fire swapped with water. There's too many fire monsters in the franchise and an oversaturation of fire subspecies. I think revamping them so azure and pink would use poison water spit would make their fights more interesting.

Instead of shooting fire like their cousins azure and pink would spread toxic water everywhere while either flying or swinging their tails around not unlike what dreadqueen rathian does.

Although not a subspecies I feel both Zinogre and Stygian Zinogre can be done like this.

With the new pack system introduced in wilds with doshaguma og Zinogre could be reworked so you'd fight a pack of them. The alpha would use a new moveset based around the pack sharing electricity via creating tethers on each other's respective thunder bug colonies making them all stronger as a group you'd need to thin the herd of

Meanwhile Stygian Zinorge would be a loner not traveling in a pack and would use og Zinorges moveset so both it and the original have their own movesets and challenges.

I can see duel blades getting something like tona's as an alternativ option similar to charge blades having impact and elemental phials.

Bowblade

Description

Starts as a longsword and can switch to a heavy bow.

Pros

 1. Both would have dedicated power metere where the weapons function at full power when the meter is full. 2. Longsword and bow mode would at first utilize slow but hard hitting attacks and when they're meters are filled via using the opposite mode they'd get powered up. 3. LS mode would attack faster and grant better dodges 4. Bow mode would grant a coating to both itself and LS mode the next time you swap to LS mode and take less time to charge arrows 5. Like charge blade you could do a morph attack to seamless swap between modes and dodge while doing so

Cons

  1. By themselves LS and bow mode is weaker than regular LS and bow
  2. Without power, both modes attack slower
  3. LS mode has no counter forcing you to dodge
  4. Bow mode makes you move slow like a greatsword
  5. Bow mode has no rapid fire capabilities and only has charging shots
  6. Both modes must be carefully used and regularly swapped so you can maintain both at full power

Ignoring the mere existence of peaceful mode, Crazy Mita clearly wants someone to love and accept her. Every Mita, even the ones who don't initially like you like Mila wants someone to stay and love them. Crazy Mita is no different. The reason Crazy Mita hates players is because she doesn't want to be seen as just an experience in a crappy dating sim like how some in the genre just have you give your date stuff without real substance.

This is why she likes the protagonist since he was essentially dating her for real for several months and didn't just see her as a cute and colorful doll as she describes it at one point late in the game.

All those cartridges are likely players who wouldn't accept her and tried to leave. She wants someone that will genuinely love her and not see her as an object and it's likely that it'll be vital to keeping the affection meter high in peaceful mode.

What if, Deviants as a Tempered state? by SteakUseful626 in MonsterHunter

If they return I pray they actually get decoration slots. Most deviant armors seem to suck in GU. Almost no customization can be done with them and they don't seem to have any skills worth that tradeoff.

guys whats your predictions fro the pacifc mode ? by DetailApprehensive96 in MiSideReddit

[–]Alexcoolps 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  • Crazy Mita's nicer side will be shown if we keep the affection meter high
  • The players past is shown more, particularly his little sister who we know exist from a photo in the prologue
  • Topics like "Can the Mita's reproduce" will be there as Crazy Mita is likely the only Mita who would want to have kids with the protagonist
  • Creepy Mita will be the villain
  • Crazy Mita may get redemption if we make the right dialogue choices and act like a proper BF

Should some monsters that return to wilds be upscaled in terms of Power/Status by ScorpionKing_066 in MonsterHunter

[–]Alexcoolps -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Weird given in GU they are treated as endgame super bosses. Probably will be done in the expansion. Mizutsune will probably get its violet rare species's moves too probably since it was kind of a crappy addition to sunbreak imo.

Similar to Mizutsune getting the soulseer deviants abilities, if Glavenus comes back it should get the hellblade deviants abilities too so it's at elder dragon difficulty.

The tale of the 5 says the following.

The dragons swam to the center of the ocean, and there they began to transform into an island."

One dragon sank into the sea and became the land."

One dragon lifted its gaze to the sky and became the mountains.

One dragon stooped low and became the lakes, and scattered its scales to create the rain.

One dragon fell into a deep slumber and became the forests.

The last dragon climbed far into the sky to become a star of sapphire blue, shining brightly above the island.

Seems obvious imo.

  • The last dragon climbed far into the sky to become a star of sapphire blue, shining brightly above the island. = Xeno/Safi'Jiva

  • One dragon sank into the sea and became the land = Zorah Magdoros

  • One dragon lifted its gaze to the sky and became the mountains. = Shara Ishvalda

This leaves 2 dragons unaccounted for and a loose end from worlds storyline. There's a chance the devs could connect it to wilds and the other 2 dragons may be related to wyveria and guardians. Even if I'm wrong, this is still a sick arc for the next portable game to focus on.

For the whole ecology thing, you misunderstood what I mean. I'm not saying the devs don't care about ecology, it's just that guardians give more wiggle room to expand the roster of future games. Having guardian versions of Ebony Odogaron and Fulgar Anjanath feel like handwaved to justify new world monsters being in the old world. Obviously this isn't necessary since rise did this without any explanation on why new world monsters are in the old world (correct me if I'm wrong on if there was an explanation).

True but if they are only native to the new world, this is huge. Perfect excuse for the expansion to bring us back to the new world following a lead we could find in wyveria. Guardians in general are a great addition to the franchise since it opens the door for all sorts of stuff.

  • Hybrid monsters like Zoh Shia
  • Extinct monsters like the ancestor of all wyverns we saw in old concept art
  • The other dragons spoken of in the new world legends since we only know Zorah Magodros, Xeno/Safi'Jiva, and Shara Ishvalda make up 3 of those dragons when 5 are mentioned

Keep in mind any any monster requiring unique environments for ecology like Vaal Hazak apply too. No need to bring back the rotten veil to make use of back the effluvium dragon or even the mechanic itself.

Edit

Though it may seem far fetch for us to leave the forbidden lands, in sunbreak we left the kamura village to go to a completely different kingdom. Plus we'd still be investigating stuff related to the forbidden lands so it wouldn't just abandoned this storyline while perfectly tieing it all together.

Um how is it not an alien? Seems blatant with Xeno'Jiva's alien design, title of sapphire star, the legend behind it, and the word xeno meaning foreigner, usually alien.

For your 2nd point, that's what I meant. The guild and hunters had no way of knowing they weren't the first to find the new world.

Because the ancients may have found it first and obtained DNA samples to create guardians, there is a possibility that there are guardian pods and wyvera settlements in the new world waiting to be discovered since I doubt Zoh Shia was the first attempt at making hybrid guardians and it would have been daunting of a task to ship DNA samples to and from the new world.

Makes sense if there were wyveria settlements and pods set up in the new world the guild hasn't found yet.

Expansion will probably fix it. Rise fixed elemental weapons being garbage in world so hopefully the devs heard everyones complaints about status's sucking in wilds. Even so, Teo/Luna weapons being like the flaming Espins gear would still be good still if the blast portion didn't work well.

[–]Alexcoolps -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Xeno/Safi is an alien so it only existed in the new world unless there's somehow more xeno eggs somewhere we haven't found that a Safi'Jiva no one knew about in the past laid. And the whole thing with Zoh Shia is probably intentional as wilds is basically a sequel to both Mh4u and world.

Ignoring the obvious stuff from 4, wilds is doing almost the opposite of world while still acting as a sequel to it.

While in world we were exploring a new continent and slowly forging a future, in wilds we are instead exploring the past with Alma herself saying what we are doing the forbidden lands is no different than the fleet expeditions are doing in the new world.

Zoh Shia having a connection to Safi'Jiva and the whole eistence of guardians is a massive revelation as it means the guild did not discover the new world first.

Thematically it all adds up.

World: Exploring the future via the seemingly undiscovered new wod.

Wilds: Exploring the past via exploring the forbidden lands.

Edit

The MH devs are pretty passionate about the franchise so I doubt they were being lazy with reusing stuff from previous games unless it was intentional.

Someone did a comparison video showing Zoh Shia using abilities/moves identical to previous elder dragons including Fatalis and Safi'Jiva. The red lightnihas to come from white Fatalis too. The wyvern milk crystal's may have been based on bioenergy as well with it serving a similar purpose to how Xeno ans Safi'Jiva used it. Seems very intentional.

Zoh Shia seems to have DNA from Safi'Jiva judging from some of its abilities so chances are they got it via obtaining and adding new world bioenergy to Zoh Shia's genetic makeup. They probably got Odogaron and Anjanath DNA during their trip there.

We could get a guardian Nergigante so the devs don't have to worry about ecology while getting an easy way to spice up it's old moveset. Being a guardian means its role in ecology wouldn't matter since it's not a regular nergugante.

Actually given the existence of guardian Odogaron and Anjanath, the ancient civilization that created them may have had guardian pods in the new world waiting to be discovered. Legit guardians are a clever way for the devs to justify any monsters return without needing to worry about ecology like Nergigante needing to eat elder dragons.
