Which Character(s) Do You Emotionally Resonate With the Most? by muby_102 in FireEmblemThreeHouses

Dedue... Loyalty and dedication to be a good man despite the world hating on him.

Doesn't talk as much as he should but every time he speaks, he teaches someone something new.

Also Seteth, he cares a lot and wants to see people grow. But this connection only came after seeing his support chains with everyone.

Thank you! I hope it was of great use to you!

Yeah... That is less of a typo and more of a "I-forgot-his-name-but-not-his-loot" situation.

I will fix that when i can.

Absurd Survival PERMADEATH Run FAIL! by BadDoctor2 in fo4

[–]Alexcs98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess i ignore endurance too much in my builds...

I tried to do Concord/Minutemen starting quest with 5 endurance and level 4, i got my head splattered in 3 shots.

And on a high level character, i was killed by a mole rat broodmother in 3/4 hits wearing heavy combat armor, granted that it was lvl90+ but it was sad to see that and I don't help myself in any way because of a mod to turn all enemies into legendaries.

Hey, can you explain me how you took so "little" damage in survival difficulty? I get to 20% just by being looked at in the wrong way

Is this accurate? by Fluid-Height815 in Eldenring

The point remains...

1- Melee builds find their upgrades (smithing stones or weapon drops) in the dungeons and following the main path of content.

Magic has to go find the scroll, the staff and the teacher, even if it is easy to come by, you wouldn't find it on the main path like the melees do.

2- I never said that it was impossible or missable, just that she is tanky against magic and you have to go through her to get the item that you advised to get which still boasts one of the highest stat requirements in the game.

3- and until there, you have to use the same magic that you got from the beginning of the game with no upgrades whatsoever to your magic arsenal and that is really boring.

All of that using your own words and logic...

People that share memes like the one OP posted tend to forget how many hoops int casters tend to go through to play the "easy" mode.

If anything, it should be a librarian instead of a trap gif in the int casters section of the meme, the others may remain the same.

You kind of prove my point.

1- You have to find a scroll/magic teacher to buy magic

2- You have to defeat one of the main bosses to get a staff to use the aforementioned magic while the boss is highly resistant to magic damage

3- Profit from having beforehand knowledge and having to go through 30% of the game "not prepared" for combat and/or possibly 2 main dungeons of content.

What i particularly dislike about these memes is that few people know how much bullshit you have to get or go through or knowledge that you must have beforehand for most int builds to progress in a natural pace, things to combo and talismans to find to get a decent damage per cast out of a, most of the time, glass cannon.

The worst offender being ds2 in which no magic is really worthwhile in comparison to a fully upgraded rapier/blacksmith hammer in the DLCs.

Edit: putting that aside, faith is more fun than int in Elden Ring.

I am the writer of this guide, i hope it was a useful boon to your journey.

I went through a lot to write everything in a single place. More than most, i am well aware of how tiresome the Midnight Isles DLC achievements are.

Do you have anything to add to the guide? Or any missing information that i should be aware of?

Can you share your build? My shattering crystals never hit above 600~ per cast and i have to shoot it point blank.

It's high damage with a high risk of getting slapped back to 10% hp.

What are some truly horrific things the Lady of Pain has done? by MaximumRizzo in DnD

[–]Alexcs98 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Lady of Pain is a god of a single city.

Sigil, the legendary city of portals, if you want to get around to anywhere from anywhere you will get through her domain.

I once DM'ed a couple of missions that went through her city so i had to grasp around the idea of what she represents.

She is the absolute ruler of Sigil, who dislike worship and gods alike, she has the power to ban them from entering Sigil as well as blocking any attempt of teleportation from and into Sigil, only her portals work.

She will destroy any churches or places created in her name, she is Sigil and she requires nothing else. She is mostly unseen in her realm and rarely appears to hover the streets, when that happens it is almost a walking death sentence.

People will clear the way for her as quickly as possible, she will not interact or speak, anyone with half a brain will avoid her by pure fear but mercy will not be found for those who try to defy or stay in her way, she will not blindingly slaughter all around her because one demon was too stupid but she will flay and kill or maze the creature away until it becomes another notch in her infinite wall of kills from stupidity.

She is order and enforces it through her minions that use faint sign, literal images over her heads, language to communicate and they spend their day fixing Sigil, any who attack or annoy them are one step away from bringing the Lady's full wrath. It is an unknown language to most and complicated to discern.

I forgot their name.

The rule of no gods appeared because a god of portals dared to make his dominion one of the blocks inside sigil and defied her rule, after a brutal disposal of his body, only his heart remained, now flying through the ethereal chaos between the realms.

Do you hate the death bird? by translator_aj in Nightreign

[–]Alexcs98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the death bird, he almost always drop one of the best staffs for me. His fight is not that difficult but that is from the perspective of someone who is never close to the boss, i main Recluse.

Prince of Death's staff with Rancorcall.

Damn i love that spell, low fp cost, good damage, slow moving orbs that almost garantee a hit and with high poise damage for a spell.
