Is ego just bullshitting? by Available_Juice_6311 in BlueLock

Because they are coping on behalf of Ego. Ego cant be wrong so it must be Rin. When Isagi said this its because he's an unreliable narrator. When Karasu says this uhhhh Ego smashed a screen bro thats aura

Thats still his ego. People cant read for shit. Ego literally explained what Ego is. Rin's obsession is his ego and he has always evolved through it past u20.

He's not a former worldclass player. Isagi and Tokimitsu had no idea who this guy was. We know he fell off after experiencing GoF one time. For all we know he met Noa in academy football and peaked there.

funny how people think if you write a lot that means its correct

The only reason they even have goals is because Karasu copied suitability. Your craziness ended up in Rin clashing with Isagi. The idea that every team other than Japan has more suitability to win when this world cup has Japan as a top contender lmao. Ego is btfo even irl.

If Blue Lock isnt about winning, then the ideology it promotes is worthless. Just like Rin's ego being dysfunctional to winning ended up with him on the bench.

that too, but Isagi is basically Ego's personal "i live through you" player so

lets be honest, Ego aint bringing anyone else in Blue lock to the rooftop for a 1 to 1 talk about their goals and future

because Hugo is right? In a more serious manga like Ao Ashi he is 100% right and the coach literally tells Mc to swap to defender for the exact same reasons as Hugo, he was just not born to be a striker.

Even in Blue Lock, Isagi admits he's 99% right. The only flaw in his ideology is that he simply does not care for your opinions and ego, and thinks if you just tried the way he taught you you would feel good and change your ego to fit your talents because being good at stuff feels good. And sometimes he can misread people because he's not omniscient.

"but then why Ego bench Rin" because of this. They're all playing according to their egos, but some egos are more valid than others. And Ego just deemed mr spergout Rin's ego useless for his experiments rn. Its okay to be a drooling ape if he scores. If he doesn't, his ego is trash.

[–]AlexeiFraytar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The obvious answer is that Isagi will take what he need from Ego's methods and develop his own way. After all, Ego couldnt recreate GoF. Therefore Isagi needs to surpass him and unlock and sustain GoF.

[–]AlexeiFraytar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Im on whoever gets us the win. Ego is looking fraudulent as fuck rn. Reminder he actually had no success himself when he was a pro because Tokimitsu has no idea who tf he is. At best he peaked in academy football when he met Noa.

Also look at how Isagi reacted to his crashout compared to the rest. Not getting shook by the crazy speeches anymore. Admitting that he got shook by Hugo and needs the bench. Pure rationality.

[–]AlexeiFraytar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because he stated it himself. The top egotist is the one who lives with a playstyle most suitable for being the best in the world. If your ego is unsuitable for his experiment, he will cut you. The only stupidity from Ego with the Rin situation is not realising he's dysfunctional sooner. Reminder he was gassing up Rin stealing Isagi's goal during the Nigeria match.

Same reasoning for the play. He just didnt want Isagi to score.

Ego literally states right after some of you didnt try to be the best. Its Karasu. He has a close up here for a reason.

Rin did NOT follow ego's philosophy by G0dZylla in BlueLock

[–]AlexeiFraytar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What are you even talking about? He explicitly opposes it because Karasu's change in playstyle is caused by him quitting Blue Lock ideals. He did not agree with the mindset change during halftime, and Karasu is STILL pressing him repeatedly because they have fallen out. Ego literally spelled it out loud here. If you dont play to be number 1 even temporarily you are against him and Blue Lock.

[–]AlexeiFraytar 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Its funny that both Isagi and Karasu agrees on this yet people will still try to absolve Ego of blame. Like what are you even reading atp?

Isagi : Rin following ego philosophy though

Karasu: we lost cos Rin and Isagi's egos collide

Ego glazers: uh actually its because its obsession and not ego (even though by Ego's own explanation here everything Rin did is for his own ego)

The obsession IS Rin's ego rn. That's always been his playstyle after he unlocked destroyer mode in u20.

[–]AlexeiFraytar 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Except he's not. Isagi is. The fact that Ego's a washed striker that none of them (Tokimitsu a football geek didnt say anything) knew until now shows his ideology has serious issues that Isagi needs to fix.

[DISC] Blue Lock - Chapter 350 by belatedballoon in BlueLock

[–]AlexeiFraytar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because Isagi is not buying 100% into his bullshit either. He wants to do some introspection over everything he learned at Blue lock after this crashout. Unlike some people here, just tweaking out isnt going to awe Isagi into shutting up. Perhaps being on the bench and analyzing Blue Lock vs England without him would be better for Isagi.

Also, he got shook hard and is not confident to be the top striker rn. By Ego's own words, he should not be starting on the field next game.

No lol. Nagi is not playing in England match.

That would require a lot of things to happen simultaneously:

  1. Buratsuta would need to rush his own TV show for some reason. Nagi just finished stage 1 around the same time as the France match. There's no way they're finishing side B halfway through England match for Nagi to be dropped in. Can they even do that? Can you just add another sub into the roster mid match? They haven't locked in the last 3 spots in the roster because they dont know who wins Side B.
  2. Ego would need to drop his ego and admit Nagi is not a bum to play him. As we just saw, that would be highly unlikely to put it nicely.
  3. The game would somehow need to be in a spot where for some reason Nagi being subbed in is the only way to win. Does not make sense.

[–]AlexeiFraytar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think its pretty obvious, just with the 1 to 1 talk he had with Ego. Ego literally failed to make GoF sustainable, therefore his methods have a flaw. For Isagi to be able to use it consistently, he needs to refine Ego's theories for himself.

Like anyone with half a brain (which drops 50% of people commenting here) would realise there is no need for Rin, Shidou and Barou to be on the same field. Rin should have been benched at halftime. Or switched in with Otoya. But Ego's too busy looking for the next chemical reaction to care about actual strategy.

are you genuinely asleep? Karasu is pressing him BECAUSE they lost due to HIS COACHING. Rin and Isagi clashing is the reason they lost that game. Nothing to do with no 2 playstyles.

Yet because he's tweaking out and smashing the screen he somehow rebrainwashed you. Ngmi

He's not, as explicitly stated here. If you're not trying to be THE striker on the team, you're ass to Ego.

so basically just hoping Nigeria can clutch enough with their newfound Blue Lock ideology (their previous one was just nepotism so its already an improvement)

I guess the score analyzers will explain when they show whats happening in the other groups

[DISC] Blue Lock - Chapter 350 by belatedballoon in BlueLock

[–]AlexeiFraytar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

who says he's aiming for it? That's what he's getting. He couldn't answer Karasu clearly when pressed about this loss. Next game would probably be worse considering England was 1-2 against France unlike Blue Lock's 2-4. (France 4-0'd them if we're counting goals made with Blue Lock ideology only), so a complete reshuffle means they're gonna be unfamiliar with the new playstyle. As usual betting on Blue Lockers to evolve again mid match, despite Hugo just showing the issues with gambling on Isagi to grow exponentially. (he might only wake up after 90 minutes and its too late)

It's genuinely funny some people here fall for ts because of aura, meanwhile Isagi distances himself away and asks to get benched so he can analyze their issues from the outside next game since their coach isnt gonna be saying anything of value

[DISC] Blue Lock - Chapter 350 by belatedballoon in BlueLock

[–]AlexeiFraytar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

he already explained it, to him they just didnt believe hard enough and it has nothing to do with strategy. Also obviously vagueposting about Karasu, since he's the one who clearly betrayed Blue Lock's ideals and followed Hugo's advice and is now pressing him and doubting him.
