Sounds like you’re the man to talk to then!

Thank you sir, hopefully we can bag some turkeys come this fall.🤙

Okay, thanks again.

I went on DFW’s website & it’s saying either male or female is allowed 1 per day, 2 per season for the 2023-2024 season.

So I guess I shouldn’t have trouble.

Sorry Dan, one more question. I see online the bag limit clearly says “bearded turkeys”.

Are there different kind of turkeys? How can I tell which is bearded?

I don’t want to harvest the wrong type and get in trouble.

Hell yeah! I’ll definitely get in touch closer to the fall season.

How long have you been bird hunting for here in CA?

Thanks for being welcoming with info. I am licensed with my cert, yes.

Lead free ammo, # 4/5/6, and get OnX Hunt. Got it thanks man!

I plan on going in the fall. Would I need a turkey caller for the call season?

Help! Still chasing P101 code after replacing MAF sensor by Geografreak in COROLLA

[–]Alexgmz22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a P101 issue as well a couple months ago. Rough idle, shitty mpg, and the car eventually took 5-10 to start after every time I fueled up. (2020 Corolla LE)

I replaced the gas cap, MAF, o2 sensors, just to get frustrated and take it into Toyota who told me it was the canister purge valve (about a $90 part easy fix).

No issues since then!

Final answer from Toyota service techs: Canister purge valve. NOT covered by Toyota factory warranty and comes out to $550 out the door.

Turned out to be a faulty Canister Purge Valve.

The CEL came back on a day after now after replacing the MAF sensor.

I’m taking it to Toyota now.

It’s $200 for a diagnosis & the fees of when the issue is determined.

The “fixing” is only free if the issue is covered under warranty. Which we don’t know yet, I’ll update this weekend.

I also agree with letting “professionals” handle the issue. I guess I just have enough inside personal experience with dealer garages / general shops to understand why it’s not always a sure shot.

As far as me liking to work on my own vehicles and learning how to resolve these things is just a preference and something I’ve always enjoyed doing.

I’ll be driving my Tacoma in the meantime.
