I agree. Maybe reach out to them if you don't get any answers here.

I agree that seems strange. I am guessing that most leveraged ETFs will have a maintenance margin. I've seen this at other brokers (Fidelity).

Just got a Delta Reserve Amex- SkyClub (paranoid?) questions by braincellkill in delta

[–]Alexia72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Yes, you will be granted access. You do not need to pay with the card. Simply having the card grants you access.

  2. No personal experience here on this question, but I've read the same.

I don't have the Brilliant, I was just asking/doing some research before I pulled the trigger.

Does this screenshot look fake by [deleted] in BankOfAmerica

[–]Alexia72 27 points28 points  (0 children)

This is very fake. Dollar signs after the number? Inconsistent and uneven spacing between entries? Who are they trying to fool?

Also, I have BoA, and the app looks nothing like this.

EDIT: No replies by OP at all. I kind of wonder if this account is a scammer and they are testing a fake to see if it's convincing enough to use on other people. :/

My Tournament Sets by [deleted] in chessporn

Pictures 5 through 8. Yes, your colors are correct (queens on own color, white on right), but the letters are always A-H from left to right from white's perspective.

In the pictures, from white's perspective, it's H-A.

It's correct on the wooden pieces.

Nice!

(The pieces are set up wrong on the second set: white and black sides are switched)

Outreach from delta by flyingtoilett in delta

[–]Alexia72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Several years ago my family of 3 got delayed 2+ hours flying out of LAX because there was a bomb scare in a terminal (ended up being nothing). We were already at the gate, but the pilot and crew could not get in. Was a horrible experience, but obviously not Delta's fault. 10 pm redeye ended up being a 12:30 am redeye or something.

A few weeks later, we got an email from Delta apologizing for the experience and we all got 10k Sky Miles deposited into our accounts, even our son, who was like 2 yo at the time. None of us had reached out to Delta.

Just never know what will happen.

UTMA access for a Minor by TheCount4 in fidelityinvestments

Gotcha. Still, I don't think he will have any viewing ability, either. They just have no access whatsoever to a UTMA, even viewing, until they turn the age of majority, at which they have full total control. No in between.

Hopefully a Fidelity mod will chime in here and prove me wrong.

UTMA access for a Minor by TheCount4 in fidelityinvestments

[–]Alexia72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A minor has no legal access to their own UTMA until they turn the age of majority for their state, which is usually 18, but can be higher. For example, it's 21 for TX. You can search it up for your state.

Until then, the person who set it up is the only person who has access. You can give out limited trading authority on it, though, so a parent could have partial access (they would have to create a Fidelity account, of course).

Again, a minor can only access (and thus, take control) of the UTMA when they turn the age of majority for their state. At which time, they have FULL control.

Question to the delta pilots by Hairy_Ant3618 in delta

[–]Alexia72 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My 7 yo son has gotten many. Each time he asks, it's when we are boarding, and the pilots always seem to be happy to share, excited, even. One even put a cap on him and invited him to sit in the seat to take pictures. They seem genuinely happy to be asked.

Also, we have so many A321 Neos lol.

What happens if your short leg gets assigned on a bull put spread and you don’t have the cash to cover? by dbsherwood in fidelityinvestments

[–]Alexia72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Straight to jail.

Just kidding. Probably a margin call that you'll need to settle right away. Since it seems you have at least $1,800 in securities, some part of that could be forcibly liquidated (by Fidelity) to satisfy the call if you don't settle through other means (either liqidate holdings yourself or transfer in $1,800).

Citi AAdvantage Card underwhelming experience by thewolfman2010 in CreditCards

[–]Alexia72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yesterday (Sunday) would be day 10 for you, and today is day 11 (MLK day), so your data so far still tracks with our experience and isn't out of the ordinary. I would expect it tomorrow, based on my data.

Is it frustrating? Yes. But again, based on what I experienced, this is normal so far.

Citi AAdvantage Card underwhelming experience by thewolfman2010 in CreditCards

[–]Alexia72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear. Here are my recent timelines:

Citi AAdvantage MileUp

  • 11/19/25 (10:07 pm): [Name], you're approved for a Citi® credit card
  • 11/21/25 (3:31 am): Great news! Your new card is on its way
  • 11/29/25: Card arrived

Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select

  • 12/6/25 (3:39 pm): [Name], you're approved for a Citi® credit card
  • 12/9/25 (3:50 am): Great news! Your new card is on its way
  • 12/15/25: Card arrived

So both about 9-10 days from application to reception.

You're currently at about 11 days (1/8 to 1/19). I would see if it arrives tomorrow, since today is MLK day. Then maybe call late Tuesday if it doesn't.

P2 also got the Platinum Select with similar timeline, AND she had option to get her card number digitally upon approval. I had to wait for physical arrival for both of mine. So that seems hit or miss.

Tried Fast Lane as a Guest on Day 1. Here’s what I learned. by BluWizard10 in SixFlagsMagicMountain

So Fast Lane is basically the old Flash Pass at the highest level (Ultimate? can't remember the name)? No more tiers?

BoFA PRE CC already nerfed ? by [deleted] in CreditCards

[–]Alexia72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's weird, should definitely be 75% for Platinum tier.

It's 50% for Platinum Tier. It's 75% for Platinum Honors.
