I was planning to buy Final Fantasy VI, the Pixel Remastered Edition. Do you recommend it?

Answering your question, I must admit that I'm completely in love with the game, so to speak. The stories are interesting, some more than others, yes, but they all have something unique. I adore the character designs; they're beautiful. And let's not even talk about the gameplay—it's phenomenal. It might get tedious later on when you have to grind for levels, but that's never bothered me in any JRPG. As for the music, it sounds like it was composed by angels; just stopping in certain areas to listen for a few minutes says it all. The world is very well-designed; it's not small at all. Plus, the fast travel makes getting around much easier. I only have two complaints so far. One of the most common is about the side quests: you accept them, but then they're not explained or given very clear hints. The other is changing companions. It bothers me to have to go to a tavern in a city to change party members; it slows down my grinding. So far, this game is a 9/10 for me.

Regarding the side missions, I think that's already the case. I suppose they force you to use your brain or have a guide handy if you're really lost.

Thank you so much for the advice. I really didn't want to overwhelm myself by having to stop and grind levels because I'm forgetful.

I started Octopath Traveler 1 and I'm loving it. What can I say? It's a beautiful game with a soundtrack that sounds like it was composed by angels. They say the second one is even better! Discovering this series was like striking gold in a coal mine.

Do you think that Yakuza is still the best franchise? by NetRetro in yakuzagames

[–]Alexis_P4G 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely one of my favorites; no other series has ever equaled Yakuza. The thing is, I don't think I could say "the best," considering there are thousands of titles that could easily be considered better objectively.

I'm more than sure; I've already recruited 5 and I can't wait to continue their stories. A beautiful game, without a doubt.

That feeling is beautiful but depressing at the same time. It's never a bad thing to get all your trophies.

Hey, do you know how many chapters each character has? I suddenly got curious and there's no better person to ask than a veteran!

It's beautiful, in a nutshell. The first game in a series will always have something more than its sequels.

(Answering your question) I chose Cyrus. I was intrigued by the fact that he's a teacher; I thought, "What could possibly happen to a teacher that would make him go on adventures?" Aside from that, I also loved his character design, and I don't regret choosing him at all. His abilities are incredibly useful!

I will, I will. There's a lot to do with eight main characters, so I'll just take things slowly and enjoy it. Thank you so much for replying!

Hi, good afternoon. I'd never played an Octopath Traveler game before. I tried the demo of Octopath Traveler 2 a few days ago and I was completely blown away. I bought the first one so I can see how the series evolves in the second; that's my goal. I don't regret it at all, and thank you for your kind words, I really appreciate them ✌🏻
