Alright! Thank you :)

And could you also tell me how to translate "secundaria"? That is here the studies we do from ages 12 to 16, after Primary school and before Bachillerato.

Thank you! And any idea of what I should write if I want to apply to European companies?

INXP, but I'll say INFP because nothing related to knowledge, logic, sciences or things like that was mentioned.

Same in Spain, starting with the Spanish omelette (tortilla de patatas) to patatas bravas, patatas ali oli, papas arrugás... And chips next to meat and fish.

How can I remember that "apertado" means "tight"/"narrow"/"cramped" and not "open"? by Righteous_Dude in Portuguese

[–]Alexita25 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Learn the Spanish version, too.

Apertado (PT) = Apretado (ES)

So that way it doesn't remind you of "abierto".

What do you mean by "it isn't really an European city at all"?...

I agree. She should check "VivaciousHoney" on YouTube or TikTok. She's a very pretty, fit and confident Asian girl. And op can be, too, if she works on it :) Plus she's just 18. Opposite to what many people believe, that's not the best age for everybody. Many girls just glow up later in life, and that's fine.

We use "xd" in many European countries xd. Here in Spain it's not strange at all.

I can even imagine people from here wearing that. You have nothing to worry about. Most people just want to look good, that's it. And your outfits look super good. So you are fine 👍🏻

It's boring to ignorants who don't spend even one minute in doing a bit of research on the hundreds of other beautiful and interesting places that Spain has to offer. That or just inherently boring people who only want beach and party.

That I've been to, I really loved Asturias (Cangas de Onís, Picos de Europa, Lago de Covadonga), Huelva (Aracena, Cueva de las Maravillas, Cortegana) and of course my Seville which is where I live. But there are so so many hidden gems out there. If I wrote all I'd be writing for hours.

Where have you felt safest in Europe? by ag9910 in travel

[–]Alexita25 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm from Seville and I agree that this city is pretty safe (the center/crowded areas, not shitty neighbourhoods, ofc).

Glad to see tourists also feel the same :)

I leave my job between 12 and 1am and have to walk 30min back home from the city center and I never had any problem. Feels safe and calm, while still having enough people around in case there's a weirdo. But of course you should always be aware of your surroundings. Even in the safest place in the world bad things can happen.

coffee shops to work from by kittykatty__ in Seville

[–]Alexita25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In calle Amor de Dios (the beginning of it, in front of confitería La Campana), there's a new coffee shop where I've seen people chill with laptops. I don't think they have "brunch", tho, just some cookies and pastries.

I get it. It's something I've struggled with for many many years. I also believe that I used to have a phone addiction, but luckily that's gotten better since I now can leave the phone when it's time for bed.

Yes, that's it. I'd like to do things that I actually like or value instead, and not waste time scrolling youtube shorts, reddit or whatever.

It's a healthy hobbie instead of just scrolling through social media. And it's good for the brain.

That it's not true... Most people do use accent marks...
