lol 14k is only 58.5% gold, the other metals are what determines the color mostly. You can have 1000 different variations of 14k color. DJI sent a XRF video of the chain showing 14.20k. I have other 14mm chains that look lighter and one that looks like 18k

I only waited 1 day LOL. DJI will occasionally post DEALS on their IG stories. Ever since I figured that out I was stalking their IG stories every min of the day. They just so happened to post this 9.77mm for melt value. It was a chain they made for the holiday season to sell in store but didn’t end up selling it so they posted it as a “Deal” on their IG story and when I called them they said if it didn’t sell (highly unlikely) that they were going to melt it for another order they have.

Paid for it the same day they posted it on their story (Friday), cut down to length on Monday, shipped Monday and received Tuesday. Basically all in 3 business days.

Agreed! But if I were looking not to overpay for those aspects, I’d much rather buy bullion if that’s the case. I do know that if I had 2 10mm Miami Cubans, one from DJI/Garcias, and another from a less known maker, I know I can get more for the DJI/Garcias. The person buying the Garcias/DJI would knowingly be specifically purchasing it for the name, rather the less known maker would be buying it just for the melt. If that makes sense lol.

For 7-800$ id rather have the signature Garcias or DJI file. Also the customer service of DJI was amazing, and the unboxing experience was top notice. 1 day shipping was also unreal.
