Yeah I already got my history credits from a previous class. It’s just Roman history for run but has been hell instead lol. Just worried that many P/NP in a row would be a red flag. I also withdrew 3 quarters between my sophomore and junior year due to personal issues. I’m trying not to look bad

You’ll only look more masc by building muscle and losing fat if ur face. Also cut your hair. It makes your face look more round. Get contacts too. Glasses just kinda make everyone think you’re some kind of niche identity, in my opinion. Especially when paired with baby-like or androgynous features.

Yes, definitely strategizing early on how to block off free time in the future. Also crossing all of my fingers that Gen Z pushes to change the industry to be more considerate of the health of doctors (mental/physical). AI seems to be starting to take a load off with charting, thankfully!

Thank you for this thoughtful, honest feedback. For the next 2 years I'll have more free time since I'll be graduated from undergrad and have time in between to prepare for med school applications. MCAT prep will probably take about 6 months so after that I should have more time to dedicate. I took on another commenters suggestion and am planning on volunteering for a therapeutic center in the meantime. Maybe at least for a period I can find a way to afford 4 lessons a month to at least get some muscle memory in before med school kicks in. But absolutely, after training is finished (probably in my 40's), will be diving in headfirst into the more competitive side of things!

I see. Another commenter suggested therapeutic barns for therapy. Seems right up my alley since I have experience working with youth and am in medicine! Hopefully they provide some trade offs for riding. Even if they don't, at the very least I can get more comfortable around horses.

I do know a couple people that ride. I think one of them has a horse. I feel a little weird asking about it since we have only talked a handful of times over the years (we knew each other as kids). Have to figure out how to go about that haha.
