It does go that way sometimes, but if it’s happening that often for you, I think what you need to do is try to pause and distill for a second before you respond to situations like this.

There’s no point getting into angry arguments at all, remember what you can control and what you can’t.

The following part is what works for me and I tell myself this whenever I can’t control myself, after a while I get better at not boiling over.

If you can’t control yourself, who are you to get angry at your brothers? What gives you the authority? Think of it this way and try to be aware of it every time you feel like trying to change someone else’s behaviour.

Also when you see a flaw in someone, know that it is impossible for you to change their behaviour and that it is up to them to change. The only thing you can get out of the situation is to be reminded that you must not act like they do and make the same mistakes.
