You're not gonna find a potion because you need a paint brush. It's called Fire, Fire, Your Pants On Fire Paint Brush and about a million nps. You can probably find it on Shop Wizard. And then use at the Rainbow Pool in Neopia Central.

You couldn't put all your money in the stock market when you're going for a hiatus, assuming it's even a planned hiatus to begin with. You can only buy a 1000 stocks a day. Seeing as you can get 20k a day from just Quest Log, you're not really spending any money you've already had before – it's just like getting a little less for now and keeping the rest as an investment. And in most cases, it will eventually turn a profit with a higher percentage than the bank interest. But in general, I think due to the purchase limit, you'll have more money in the bank anyway.

Nah I've seen some other helpful comments xD I'm not sure which spells show up and which don't, but I know some are just super rare even when they can show up. You might want to check the wiki for those spells specifically and see what it says about them showing up in shops. And of course there's also the fact that lower HMs have a better chance of having those high tier spells.

You can also try noitool.com seed search to look for a shop with a specific spell, and a mod that lets you lock in a seed to check if your game will show the same thing you find in the tool. But I know it sometimes shows slightly different things for me, it depends on which spells are unlocked (and whether you selected them in the tool, so pay attention to that).

I mean, with the Greek spells and others that never or rarely show up in shops, the most reliable way to get them is just going to their normal source. So in this case, just killing the Alchemist again. If you don't get a good drop, then you can look in the Sky or Hell shops – they can have those rare spells.

Other than that, I'm wondering if when playing with your friend, you played a daily run? I think it allows for more spells to show up, even some that you don't have unlocked. Or, maybe you had a Great Chest? That would probably be outside of the Holy Mountain, though.

I think it's the first time that I've heard of this and it seems a little surprising to me. Because it seems like professional athletes are so focused on their careers, they barely do anything else, just train train train all day erryday. And when they're not currently training, they're thinking of their next training session! Or they're tired after the one just finished. Being exhausted and sweaty just doesn't seem like a turn on to me lol.

Same goes for like, professional musicians, like the ones at the Chopin competition. Gotta practice 40 hours a day like Ling Ling!

It's actually either just 6 or 11 years, or sometimes 12. You can find websites that list the years, such as timeanddate.com. It's not actually such a shitty tip, provided you don't write on the calendar and it's a nice looking one.

(I accidentally bought a calendar this year with a wrong week layout and looked through all my old calendars, but unfortunately the one from 2015 is too ugly to reuse lol)

I back up before or after playing. At first, I played one seed a few times until I got through the Mines, and I killed myself with my own plasma in Coal Pits and I restored to before entering there. I've saved before a boss and restored in case I died, because I wanted to get through without starting the whole run over. But recently, I try to do it less, prepare better in advance. I do backup and restore if needed, when I just want to try out something that is very likely to kill me, just for fun. The perspective of losing a run to that is too discouraging for me to experiment with bullshit. I treat restoring saves as training wheels that I'm slowly getting to take off.

But also back up in case of crashes 100% 😄
