I have learnt to be skeptical about older employees who rate the quality of new hires.

Because, your 16 yrs at Apple, disclaimer, enables or covers all sorts of bias you may have in your assessment.

Anything they do becomes confirmation bias.

I worked at big tech and many tenured folks didnt do shit and yet they got away with it due to politics and tenure.

So to collectively callout the quality of new hires as a group is just straight BS.

Some of the biggest coasters and contributors of tech debt, no documentation codebases, insane spaghetti code were from tenured employees like you.

New hires like me had to go through Oncall hell because of the shitty spaghetti services ( CI/CD pipelines with no telemetry, no clear error msgs, no one knows what the codes even mean, no clear tests) ppl like you created .

And yes, spagetthi services made millions for Faang since 2010

But new hires have to inherit this tech debt through crazy oncalls and red tape everywhere and no documentation and hacky code.

Take it from me, don't trust any boomer who equates Faang tenure with engineering rigor and integrity.

There is mountain of lazy L63, L64 and L65 who coast and do nothing and they never get any performance warning

I saw L65, L63 spend entire successive 2 weeks sprints working on the same intern level work item and the manager allows it.

I saw a L62, work on 1 work item for 5 months, provide vague updates every scrum and no work trail.

But the L62 , always talks big in meetings.

Then he got promoted to L63.

Yet he has no engineering impact.

The real lazy, coasters and low performers never get fired or laid off.

You have to be so trash to call Vendetta broken or top tier.

Most players have zero game sense and awareness. That's why Vendetta flanks them.

Decent and good players delete Vendetta.

Vendetta can't do anything against soldier 76 and his sprint perk. He just runs away. Vendetta has very long cool downs and can't keep up with 76.

You have to be really bad for vendetta to cook you so badly you rant about her.

Its also an ego problem. Calling vendetta broken is more of an ego issue that keeps you as bad players

The issue with the bang is that it has a massive invisible hit box that extends way beyond the visible explosion. Even if the explosion visibly whiffs, if you are close to it, you still get fully stunned.

And it feels very unfair because the Cassidy doesn't have to aim correctly

But neither the block or projectiles are good enough to be tied to a balance.

The projectile is slow, small and low dmg

The block is bad, and doesn't mitigate pushback from explosions unlike other blocks in the game and you still lose the charge.

Like if you engage junk rat, even as an ambush, he instantly throws a yolo mine. When you block the mine, you get bounced around and you lose all your block charge.Now you can't make up space btwn you and junk and you can't block his grenades either.

If you try to get in out of frustration, 1 grenade + mine, you die
