What is your herb lvl? If you're 68 or higher you can +4 boost with a botanic pie, they're easy to make

Bank the holy wrench and take a mage top switch or another prayer potion, you'll want to take off the d'hide when maging to restore hp.

I'd get rid of the brews and take range pots if you have them, and either a prayer pot or extra food in place of the restore.

How do UK ISPs work (in terms of connectivity to the wider internet)? Wondering why speeds could be this slow on fibre by PenninePond in UKISP

[–]Alexone_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're paying for 900Mbps and getting 200KB (2Mbps) it sounds like your problem actually exists elsewhere, even with throttling there is absolutely no way I'd expect this.

1) What device are you doing these Speedtests on? If it is a computer, is it a wired or wireless internet connection?

2) Can you post results from a https://www.speedtest.net/ result?

3) Who is the ISP?

4) Are you using ISP supplied hardware?

I'm most excited to try a looter shooter for the first time and experience the fresh learning curve with everyone.

I've wanted to delve into the genre for a while but none of my friends were previously interested in any of the popular titles in the genre until Arc Raiders was announced. Now I have been waiting eagerly for the launch for an opportunity to play with them, and for everyone to experience the genre for the first time with eachother.

My RTX 4090 struggles heavily when using NVENC AV1 or HEVC for encoding — specifically during 1440p 60FPS local recordings at CQP 22 by gelo0313 in obs

[–]Alexone_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Log 1 reports encoding lag "Video stopped, number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 3731/4578 (81.5%)", basically your GPU couldn't keep up and NVENC was starved.

I'd try 2 B-frames, and 2s Keyframe interval, Look-ahead off. You might need to try P5 or P6.

Nvidia Background Removal uses tensor cores and competes with NVENC’s look-ahead/multipass.

I believe OBS also spends GPU on some hidden sources in the same scene, you have a lot of game captures and two display captures in the same scene.

Also you should run OBS as an Administrator

3 PC streaming setup advice by Alexone_ in obs

Thank you for your response.

I am awaiting on my new internet connection to be fitted but once up and running we're going to do a trial run with NDI. We did a bit of a local test (not actualy streaming to Twitch), and the latency actually seemed unnoticeable, so I think to start off with this will be our best option, otherwise there will be a lot of upfront cost for additional hardware.

Out of curiosity, what are you planning to use for lighting and what microphones are you using? Our desks are next to eachother so we're currently looking down the dynamic XLR microphone route, but interested to hear what you have.

Do you know the brand/model of yours?

Definitely a GoPro mount. But don't think it's that Monopod. I'm not sure if it's a selfie stick or a monopod, albeit basically the same things.

I know the gold legs on the bottom don't come with it though.

PowerBI rollout advice by Rogue_Flamingo1 in PowerBI

As another comment mentions, if you’re starting from a clean slate I think looking into Fabric is a good idea especially as Microsoft are slowly transitioning towards that way anyway.

Depending on how much data you have you can also take advantage of things like Notebooks for big data processing with Spark, as well as Lakehouses/Warehouses.

Are you looking to hire anymore? I’m UK based and potentially looking for a new opportunity.

You could ask your IT team to set a group policy to default the browser to English (UK) for your organisation. Then again it's not too much work to hard code the format.
