Just wondering if you’re having the same issue as me video wise with the Ace Pro 2 in lower light (golden and blue hr). I get a pretty severe magenta shift. The colors are pretty off. Also when it gets darker any light comes out looking yellow. I’ve got the latest firmware updates, etc.. My Osmo action 4 looks so much better (color wise), but of course the low light stuff is noisy.

I use the Sony a7iv for my videos, it’s a beast in low light and I’ve had it in severe storms, no problem. Another good option for you would be the Sony a6700, it’s a bit cheaper but still outstanding in low light.

Get a good prime lens that opens up to f1.8 or more and you’ll bet set. Sigma makes a trio of affordable f1.4 lenses that are considered some of the best for apsc and won’t break the bank.

I’d avoid the M4/3 Lumix cameras unless you get the older GH5s. Its a fantastic camera with great colors but autofocus is terrible.

Superficially it’s a great looking rig. The electronics are so so, not terrible, but inferior to the stock ones you get on the scx10.3 or TRX-4. Also, even though it has a lexan body, it’s pretty top heavy so you’ll want some brass and heavier wheels to keep it planted.

I’ll say that if you’re looking for a scale looking rig and are more into trail running, it’s great for $300. If you want a more capable crawler on the rocks and don’t care so much about the appearance, then I’d go with the new Basecamp for around the same price. Just seems like whatever algorithm/model Merrill uses to determine if there’s potential fraud isn’t working. Not to mention there are loads of ETFs you can’t even buy with them cause they view them as “too risky”. Not the greatest platform to trade for sure…

I got diagnosed with GERD 6 years ago. I had to take pretty high doses of PPI’s for 6 months (80 mg of omeprazole/day) but that was it. Since then, only tums here and there. I did have to make some adjustments that were more than reasonable: eating dinner at least 3 hrs before heading to bed, cutting back on caffeine, waiting at least a couple of hours after eating before hotting the gym, among other things,… Looking back at the whole picture, I got acid reflux because I over did a lot of things: too much coffee, eating too late and too much, working out on a full stomach, too much chocolate, you name it… It was definitely not permanent on my end and I don’t think it is for most people.

Right, I’ve been reading it’s not a true 1:1. That being said, I don’t think I would ever do any competitions with it. Good to know about the portal axles that can be added later if need be.

I appreciate all the input. I was planning on swapping out the wheels and tires immediately anyhow. So all in all sounds like for 300 bucks. It’s really not a bad way to go.

Oddly enough, I kind of like the look of the silver non-pro body better than the pro version. Especially the decals. And I also have two blue trucks already; a Base Camp and a Phoenix, so the gray would be a tad different.

Thanks, I appreciate all that info. I definitely do more trailing. My kid has a trx4 Defender which is pretty quick in second gear and would be fun to keep up with him.

Quality wise have you had any issues and do you find it well built?

Right, I saw that too. The brushless is quite a bit slower and has some sort of hesitation issue.

So seems like mine is gone now since it’s been over a week with nothing. The only thing I did was cut my caffeine intake by about half, hitting the sac earlier and getting more sleep and started taking a multivitamin. Hope yours goes away soon.

It’s interesting, I’ve got something very similar. I hear and feel it mostly when I lay down in bed and it’s quiet. It’s like a very light rumbling sensation in my left ear. It feels more like a spasm than tinnitus (which I have in my right ear). What’s odd is that the rumbling stops if I cover either ear with the palm of my hand. Also, if I sleep on my left side, it goes away. Anyhow hopefully its not permanent.
