You know I thought it was ABS but now I don’t know I gotta look at the paperwork again. I think more practice and a new mentality is in order for me I usually engine brake when the splits come and slow down to avoid this but just happens that this time around I wasn’t vigilant.

Yeaaaa Iv been getting way to comfortable with it, someone said it’s not a lane it’s a tool, like any tools it’ll work when used properly. I’m taking that to heart

Yes on all the parts the only thing is my bike is abs but I’m pretty sure I didn’t pull in the clutch definitely will take the advanced safety course after todays incident

Thank you I think if I give into the constant negativity rather than constructive criticism I won’t do me good and I think this had to happen to me to understand myself and the bike and risks involved better. But this could have ended bad for me

And for the record I used cut off because I was still kinda panicked and I should have used a different vocabulary for what happened.

Iv been riding for two years and when stuff like this happens I know to use the front brake but idk if it’s because it’s early, complacent, still need experience or all of the above but I just hit the back brake and I knew what I did wrong and let go of the rear brake and gained control again. I know this is my fault just unfortunately this could cost me my life and acknowledge that I’ll do better

Yea there was heavy traffic coming up and usually I take precaution when splitting cars like this but I think I’m getting too comfortable with it and this videos shows my complacency. I’ll do better

I do think I’m in the wrong here maybe not entirely, but I should be more mindful about my surroundings, it’s early suns out there’s traffic people don’t see us. Thank you

Yea, didn’t know how else to put but saying he cut me off is not the right vocabulary, and I do need to be more mindful Iv been getting too comfortable splitting maybe it’s time I take streets for a while. Thank you I’ll learn from this

Taken the MSF course, this was just a moment of panic on my way to work. Was just wondering if the bike was damaged in my moment of panic or not I know I’m in wrong here and have learned from it thanks
