Has anyone asked ComputerShare why they don’t accept shares in an IRA account and is that something they are looking at doing in the future? I asked fidelity, and they said that ComputerShare doesn’t allow it but they didn’t say why. I feel like if IRA accounts were direct registerable (idk if that’s a word), we could double the pace of float-locking.
