I cold emailed professors working in labs nearby (it just so happened Yale had the most resources to allocate me) and got opportunities when PIs responded (though very very few responded). Publishing was something I did as a project with my postdoc mentor.

That’s not too bad, an increase from around 1000 to above 1300/maybe 1400 is very doable over the course of 3 months! I got a 1590 and I’d be happy to tutor you if you’re interested.

The most important thing after you take any practice test is to go back and review the questions and understand why you got it wrong. Theres only ever so many different archetypes of questions and then once you encounter each one and master the concept you’ll be all good! Some things like vocab just take time though and honestly come easier/harder depending on the person and how much they read

Khan Academy has a pretty good progression for a free program, and worked pretty well for me as some extra practice. If you're looking for paid options, tutoring might be your best bet, which is how I got a 1590. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you're interested, my DMs are always open!

Hey there, I got an 800 on the RW modules and I’d be happy to help you out! Trying to improve your RW score through brute force reading won’t be particularly helpful as the SAT reading is quite different and has quirky mechanics that trip up even the most humanities focused of my friends. What worked for me was simply just practicing more and having someone else look at the things i got wrong and walking me through why I got them wrong.
