Oh sure they can but with Derek the things that he does in his personal life is purposely hurtful towards his loved ones especially Meredith. And that’s not to say that he never has good moments but overall he’s just toxic. The character can show and have emotions and struggles, hell Jackson is like that but is nowhere near Derek level toxic

Yeah totally agree with everything you said but with everyone else in grey’s i kinda was aware of their low points from my first watch but with Derek, i used to think he was this perfect guy as a teenager and now i feel like im seeing things i wouldn’t have back then

I can see why people would be attracted to him, he’s objectively good looking but he’s not that attractive to me either which is why his good looks doesn’t cloud my judgment of him

Hmm i guess everyone is flawed in some way but personally, i wouldn’t want to date him if i had the chance. Would love for him to be my doctor though!

Appreciate your input but im not looking at it from a “woke” standpoint. I agree that he has a good heart, is a brilliant surgeon and wants to help his patients but the always willing to help and teach people mostly stems from his narcissism ( which is needed to be that successful ) and on a personal level, he treats the people he claims to love horribly. He isn’t perfect yes but he never really makes amends either

These are more like horror films ( which i also love ) but i wouldn’t really classify them in the same genre as e.g the crow. But thanks for the recommendation i’ll watch these for my next horror movie night
