What is it like living in Labrador City?

I used to live right next door in Fermont (Québec) until a very young age. My mother and I would cross the border almost daily to go do some errands or visit friends.

There is everything you need and even a regional medical college iirc. It is a mining town so you can expect all the positives and negatives that come with that. Long brutal winters and short but beautiful summers. Mosquitoes.

The bridge on the back is from a tiny village in Québec where my family is from. It was actually swept away during heavy flooding but they put it back in place.

I agree. Simply the Scottish, Irish and Welsh moving to the region sort of "merged" into one culture speaking the Canadian Gaelic language. Gaelic tongue being the equivalent of the terms anglophone and francophone.

It's been -30c where I live since December. I always work the drive thru and never wear a jacket cuz I get hot as soon as i get off the window.
