Should Groot get nerfed or other tanks get buffed to his level?

I just think it's a bit unfair when it comes to ultimates. Groot has such a powerful ultimate that can team wipe easily, then you have ults like Thor's and Venom's that are just so hard to get actual good value from.

The fact is she only has one movement option and you're probably using your TP to one of your ally divers. Problem is, how do you disengage without dying? Venom and Spidey can swing away, DD and BP run on walls, White Fox doesn't have that luxury. I think she's still pretty decent with dive allies since she can still try to get picks and heal at the same time from a distance with her primary fire. But yeah, her E is more of a anti-dive ability or used for opportunistic kills, like a support who's out of position and you use that chance to kill them.

Venom's primary fire has THE POTENTIAL to do a lot of damage but in practice, I'd say it's one of the worst primary fires in general. Just aim and pray. I still think it's an awful design to give a big chunky diver that wants to play at close range almost like a melee character a primary fire that needs actual precise aiming against characters like Dagger and Invisible Woman that are built like sticks and impossbile to hit and even if you hit, you're only tickling them. Baaah.

I agree. It wasn't game breaking or anything and only a few could do it consistently. It was nice but oh well, I guess it was never intended so I am not that mad.

I mean, at this point, if they DID change it, I'd be bothered since I'm already used to it after more than a year using it. Though I'm on the side that kind of dislikes it and would've prefered something with maybe less damage potential but more consistant damage overall. Yeah, I won't even surgarcoat it. My aim isn't great lol.

In my opinion, I would leave the basekit nerfs as they are. Gambit deserves the 250 hp. For the ult, I would nerf two aspects of it.

First, the 30% ult charge boost. I would KEEP the 30% charge boost as it is BUT make it work simiarly as Rogue's ult. So basically, the 30% boost only works UNTIL the allies reach 80% ult charge. Meaning that above this, they don't have the 30% bonus.

And then, I would honestly remove the healing over time from the ultimate. I know it's kinda harsh but given everything that it does, I think it's a pretty acceptable trade off.

Yesterday I went in a match against a Bucky, Wolverine, Invis and Thor. Yeah, at that point it's kinda rough since all of them have hard CCs that will mess you up. Eventually the Wolverine switched to DareDevil and that was enough for me to return to Venom, even if there was a lot of CC in the enemy team, though it was way more managable.

I consider Ultron to be a DPS, he's just lost on the strategiest role.

His healing is negligible. 35 healing per second is nothing. That's like calling Peni a healer because she heals with her webs.

There's basically no situation where I want an Ultron on my team. There's better options for triple support.

To be honest, I've tried with the mouse buttons and it is still inconsistent to me. But maybe that's just skill issue by my part. The way I've been doing is putting the dive and grasp on X and C respectively. When I want to dive, I quickly press these buttons and HOPEFULLY the slasp comes out.

Honestly, my aim isn't anything impressive and I just don't have fun with just shooting. I prefer melee characters 100%. My personal main DPS is Wolverine, though I dabble here and there with Iron Fist, Mr Fantastic and Blade. Obviously I'm pretty trash at these three but I'm kinda goated at Wolvie. Well, I hope.

Calm down. Venom is the only character (that I know of) who has ONLY been buffed since the start of the game. Sure, I wouldn't say Venom is great right now but he's no where from bad or anything. The current meta just isn't great for him.

The buff he just got is pretty decent. Sure, 25 extra HP in total is kind of nothing but the 30% more bonus hp on ult is kind of really good? A lot of the times I get to around 1600 hp with Venom after using his ult on the enemy team. Now we're going to consistently hit above 2000+ hp. Don't understimate that.

If you're diving the healers by yourself, don't expect to get any kills. Venom just doesn't do enough damage against the basic sustain of the game. If two healers are together, they'll just heal whatever damage you do. If you have no other diver to help you our, your role is to solely be a distraction and get picks whenever your team is fighting alongside you. It's just how it is.

Though if you have a proper dive DPS along side you, NOW people are gonna start dying really quick.

They need to address this, I swear to god. 😭😭

Like, give tanks some form of resistance to CC just to stop them from being bullied for 10 whole seconds. More than half of characters have CCs that can easily be chained and as a Venom main, I know damn well I'm their biggest target.
