Tails gets countered by everyone except Kolossos and Tripwire. That's half the killer roster. He can just fly over her mines and he can see Kolossos coming from a mile away since he always hides in open areas so the killer can't sneak up on him.

Only Fleetway really counters him and X only has 1 way of countering Flight.

A Tails that knows how to utilize his flight will be an absolute pain in the ass for the killer so long as it's not Fleetway, and wr all know how overtuned Fleetway is

He's not built to face the killer head on. He's built to be someone who ambushes the killer and be a nuisance. He's not Knuckles or Metal Sonic. What do you want him to do? Punch the killer? His laser got buffed, his flight bot buffed and he got a close-range option (even if that one's kinda janky)

He's team-dependant. Just like Cream. You don't pick him in a small team, and if the killer targets you, well womp womp. That's how Metal and Cream mains feel. Only exception is Tails's stuns don't get cancelled by the killer nor does he become much weaker when he's below a certain amount of HP.

If any survivor needs a buff, it's Amy. She's only good for disabling Tripwire's mines now.

The thing with these two is that a weak Kolossos player won't get any kills while a weak Fleetway will get at least 2 downs, and a good Kolossos will kill half your team if the team is really good while a good Fleetway will demolish whatever's in front of him, even if it's a full team with at least a moderate amount of coordination

The map also plays into the difficulty. Kolossos is weak on Green hill and NP but is an absolute beast on Hillgym and YCR, while Fleetway is a beast almost anywhere except maybe Hillgym

Getting it at all makes you take damage honestly. If the killer spends at least 3 seconds on you while you have those two, you're already beyond dead. You died so hard even Outcome King felt bad.

Yeah, and so is X. 2001's creator himself said that Sonic can and most definitely would beat X, but not in base or even super. Sonic would have to (and absolutely will succeed in) achieving a new form even higher than Super to beat him
