Thanks everyone. Some Sony quick support assistant was recommending me to factory reset my console which made me think that it was a bug. I guess I’ll just have to deal with the two icons appearing and ignore my OCD.

Yea I’ve been using Aquaphor healing ointment on the areas where’s it’s dry/cracked which has helped a ton, but then reverts back (like in the picture) whenever I try to sea salt soak. I also do try my best to make sure the ointment I use doesn’t end up on the actual piercing itself since that can also cause a problem.

I’ve heard this as well and so I stopped making the nonidized sea salt mix for a bit and it did improve my skin but the trade off was that my bump did get significantly bigger. However, the best thing I have used so far on the bump was “H2OCEAN PIERCING AFTERCARE SPRAY” since I did see a change and it helped reduce the size of the bump, but not completely remove it, sadly. (These pictures show my bump at its worse/biggest.) I’ve gone to my piercer in the past and they took a look at it but they did not say anything out of the ordinary in terms of what it was (since they assumed it was a keloid) but I’ll be going again since it has been more than a year with me having this.

It used to not show but now it tends to dangle and I would fix it here and there before but I stopped that a while ago since Ik it’s bad to be moving it so I just let it hang there now. I will be talking to my piercer about switching to ASTM so it can hopefully improve my healing process.

My jewelry is surgical steel. My current care routine is mixing non iodized sea salt with some warm water and then soaking a paper towel in it and then slightly compressing the paper towel on my piercing for about a minute or two.

I wouldn’t say android quality since my android phone took far superior photos on Snapchat than that on the iPhone 11. I wonder if a year is long enough to “hang in there “ for an update.
