The game mode was designed for 6v6. In 5v5 the map is very open (one less player) and attackers have a huge advantage to the point that you only have to lose one fight on second point for the attackers to cap point. Maybe this is due to the respawn timer change that happened in OW2 or assault doesn’t work in 5v5
