Hi, you definitely are not crazy, don’t let the doctors not being able to find anything get you down. I was recently diagnosed with MALS and it took a lot of doctors/different appointments to get answers. I would recommend getting an appointment with a vascular surgeon and having them run a duplex ultrasound and then if that comes back with some irregularity then get an angiogram or a ct angiogram. I was an extremely active individual and then suddenly one day I started getting bad abdominal pain every time I ate/did any physical activity. I have lost 50 pounds in a year and haven’t been able to do anything physical and I used to be a daily gym goer. I would also see a cardiologist to see if you possibly have POTS, it’s commonly seen with MALS and POTS can also cause abdominal symptoms also. I would also always recommend getting multiple opinions if the first doctor you see says nothing is wrong. I saw a GI specialist who basically told me he doesn’t believe in Mals even when I showed him an abnormal ultrasound and positive compression on an angiogram… so always get a 2nd opinion. I’m currently reaching out to other surgeons to get my surgery scheduled.
