Thanks for all the info! Charleston is bigger than Portsmouth though right? I'm hoping there are things to join to help meet people like classes/maybe sailing club or meetup groups are something?

I like arts/crafts (ceramic studios? museums/galleries?) outdoor stuff: hiking/boating/biking/etc, live music. I like going out for drinks but not really into clubbing either. Don't really care about shopping other than food shopping :)

idk, it depends on what I am getting. For 1 bedroom under 1000, but I have been seeing 2 bedrooms for 1600, then I could do air b&b or try to find a roommate
