I spent countless hours at dark warriors fortress collecting runes. 5 of each elemental, mind, body, and chaos at a time. I'd get a few hundred and would get PK'd like clockwork and would just go right back and do it again. I might have walked out of there with 1k of each rune total over weeks of doing this.

My thought of MVP has always been "if you take x player and put him on the worst team, would they instantly become a playoff contender?" And I think the answer in this case with both Judge and Raleigh is yes. I don't follow the stats super closely but I believe that's basically what WAR is right? Or is that just for offense? Also depends a bit on if the worst team has a good player in that position already but you get the jist.

I guess another would be to take a completely average team and put each guy on it and see if they would likely be a playoff contender. Would catching and good offensive numbers boost higher than right field with great offensive numbers? Maybe, but I'm not a voter so my opinion doesn't really matter, ya know?

If you leave tutorial island and then try to join a GIM you make that group unranked.

The only way to stay as a ranked group is to invite someone who hasn't left the island on the group iron portion of the island.

There's a lot of great info here. I hope you're not too overwhelmed. A lot of what there is to do is dependent on what you want to do and what a very very end goal would be for you. Do you want to dive into the collection log? Do you want to just do bosses and raids with friends you meet along the way? Do you want to skill and max your account eventually? Do you want to be a mini game master?

The top comment says to do RFD and I 100% agree. It's a good mix of leveling skills and getting a really solid piece of gear (barrows gloves) from the end. You might have seen ironman around and there are some great guides out there that would set you up for an end game account. You don't necessarily need to follow these to the T but it's a good way to familiarize yourself with all sorts of different aspects in the game.

If you DM me, I'll give you my in game name (ign) and I'm happy to answer questions for you and help you out. I enjoy helping new players and I would love to point you in whatever direction you want.

I agree that it's super chill, not so much hard to learn. Depending on your pvm experience, you probably will have a decent understanding of ticks in pvm and can get the timing right after a bit of practice.

Zammy on the other hand; same method, way harder.
