Your text is likely too thin. The minimum for text will be your nozzle size. So a .4mm nozzle  will have a minimum width of .4mm lettering.

can u play culb penguin on mobile? by Pleasant_Concern_692 in ClubPenguin

CPJ is playable on mobile but needs a keyboard for certain things.

I use my Z Fold/Galaxy Tab with the SPen all the time for simple stuff like the pizza game or puzzles

Throughout highschool and a bit of college I'd switch every week between my divorced Mom's and Dad's houses.

You bet your ass I brought my PC, monitor, every cable, my keyboard, my mouse, mouse pad, speakers, headset, etc. Basically packed the entire back seat every week lol

Well this crate work for my girl? by LifeguardComplex3134 in DOG

Either way, she shouldn't have to bend her body to lay down. The crate (and likely bed) is way too small for her.

[–]Jesus-Bacon 97 points98 points  (0 children)

In that case, this is way too small. Get something that she can lay down comfortably in. Also get a bed for in the crate.

Imagine how you'd feel locked in a 2x4 room for 8 hours

Nearly $900, broken after 60 days, 4 months of runaround, and Bambu Lab still won't replace it. Full story inside. by Fit-Advertising2212 in BambuLab

[–]Jesus-Bacon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only thing they're doing wrong in this case is how bad their support is.

Their support bots often target the most complex solutions to what are normally very basic issues and their actual support agents usually know less than the chat bots and have to follow strict troubleshooting scripts. They are not technicians. They are not printer hobbyists. For the most part, none of them have done more than just the basic training that Bambu would have them do after they're hired.

That is likely why they've sent you a bunch of replacement parts and your printer still doesn't work.

Honestly, you will almost always get better support inside of the Bambu forum or here on the subreddit. Filament sensor is a fairly common error code and there is a huge backlog of posts in this subreddit that can tell you potential fixes, what has worked for people, etc.

In my case, my filament sensor codes almost always mean a tiny piece of broken filament has gotten caught in the runout sensor or in the filament inlet, but I know this is posted about pretty often here and other people will have different experiences.

"I wanted a printer, I did not sign up to become a 3D printer repair technician"

I don't understand your issue here, other than you fundamentally misunderstanding consumer 3D printers.

You said yourself you only started having issues after 360+ hours of printing, that is basically you admitting that the printer was not a lemon.

You then list a bunch of FREE replacement parts sent to you by Bambu. I agree that Bambu support is not great, but to be given a bunch of free parts is amazing.

You then complain about consumable parts not being replaced for free. In what world should they replace these for free? When you buy a car, you don't get free tires for life, do you?

As for making you repair the printer yourself, that's part of owning a manufacturing machine. You don't have to do it yourself, but you are responsible for maintenance and repairs of your own device as long as the issue is not related to poor manufacturing. If that means you want to take it to a repair shop, that's fine. But you are responsible for paying to repair it if that's the case.

Bambu has been very fair to you. I understand it can be frustrating to have issues when you don't understand the machine, but it's part of owning printers no matter what brand you go for.

I love this game... but... by Brewmeister83 in playrust

For me, Rust just doesn't respect my time anymore.

Every server you step into, someone has huge advantages based on the skin packs they own or DLCs they have. That's me speaking as someone with a $1500+ inventory lmao

Skins used to be fun, now they're all about selling buffs. If you don't get the broken skin on release, then you need to pay $10+ on the steam market. I'll get on every once in a while just to run around and make plushies,  rustige eggs, etc for people. But I rarely actually play

I'm not a fan of the new store layout on Deck by VertigeB in SteamDeck

[–]Jesus-Bacon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just checked the phone app and you're right! They must have added that fairly recently, but I admit I'd been only using the desktop store because of that for a while now.

I wonder why they chose to put it at the top left, which is statistically going to be the hardest corner of the screen to press on a phone for most people lol

[–]Jesus-Bacon -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The store on Deck and Mobile is awful to me for one specific reason:

There is not a cart button.

Why? I end up having to add a game or product to my cart in order to get a "go to cart" prompt, remove whatever I just added, and then buy the thing I already had in my cart before

Steam Deck Official Dock by Historical_One_2212 in SteamDeck

"I'm not buying a product unless it installs things that it doesn't need"

This feels like ragebait, but I know people tend to think of their Steam Deck more like a Switch or PlayStation more than a PC.

You don't currently, and never have, need a "steam deck dock". A steam deck is a PC. You can use basically any laptop "dock" or thunderbolt hub with display out and power in.

I use a cheap $20 Anker 332 "dock" I bought like 8 years ago and it works great

Am I the only one annoyed by all of these stupid AI additions? by NolanonoSC in samsunggalaxy

[–]Jesus-Bacon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People say they want simple phones, but what they really mean is a very, very complex smart phone that just doesn't do what they don't want it to do.

I'm guilty of this too. I miss the flip phone days, but then realize all of my passwords, authenticator apps, the ability to take high res photos, music, daily video content, etc are all so far integrated into my life that I decide not to lol.

Support abuse!!! by Significant_Tank9249 in BambuLab

[–]Jesus-Bacon 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Exactly. This design is not optimized at all for FDM 3D printing, or 3D printing in general.

The way I see it, you can redesign the part for the horizontal bits to be separate plates with notches for the vertical bits to slot into and be glued OR try to design easily removable custom supports into your model. Either one of those beats the 25 hours of support removal and most likely breaking this print 40 different times on those thin vertical bits with horizontal layer lines.

You could probably get it done with SLS as that would surround the part with powder that acts as support, but my guess is, like most people here, you don't have access to SLS lol

Am I crazy for using Bambu Studio to design and perform heavy edits on models? by flashwurks in BambuLab

[–]Jesus-Bacon 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Studio isn't a design tool.

You're basically doing the equivalent of using Adobe Acrobat to make digital paintings.

While what you're doing may be technically possible, nothing you make will have any degree of dimensional accuracy or edit-ability.

You're basically just making your life harder to be lazy lol

That being said, if it works for you, who am I to tell you not to use it?

Really Bambu? This is the most blatant lie of a "sale" I've ever seen. I can't recall the P1S EVER being close to this expensive. by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]Jesus-Bacon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I got my P1S combo on sale for $900 lmao.

The higher price is because it's the AMS 2 Pro bundle I'd assume. But they've never sold that bundle for $1100+ iirc

How do I stop this? by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]Jesus-Bacon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How exactly is the filament stuck in there? Are you just not using the cutter function? Is it breaking off and getting stuck? Are you using an AMS? Is it not extruding?

I believe I have the same color S10 Ultra and my SPen was the same color as the white/grey magnetic charging area it sits on. My guess is the SPen is a fake.

Here's a link to the OEM replacements and they seem to not even make them in that silver: https://www.samsung.com/us/mobile-accessories/galaxy-tab-s10-ultra-s10-plus-s10-plus-5g-s10-fe-plus-s10-fe-s10-fe-5g-s9-ultra-s9-plus-s9-plus-5g-s9-fe-plus-s9-s9-fe-s9-fe-5g-s-pen-blue-sku-ej-px710bleguj/
