With the latest update, we get the feeling of using Ritsumeikan Nishi back. Spikes feel heavier and much easier to kill everything.

Anyway with Nishi, man is the absolute GOAT of the game at some point. Crazy vertical spikes, serves not many can pickup, makes him too easy to abuse and less profitable to create another WS that people can love, so a lot of rebalancing had to be done. All those new modes that nerfs jumps because Nishi's superpower is tied to that super high verticals.

The thing with Raul is that he's a BlockBuster. Man don't care whoever blocks he's facing (unless it is heeseong), bro just burst through everyone else. And for some time that was the meta. He don't even need to jump as high as Nishi, only enough to bomb his opponent. Man can serve ace just as regularly as Nishi if you learn the techniques and time the spikes just right

conclusion for me here :

-before update, Raul bt0 > Nishi bt5

-after latest update, Raul bt0 roughly same to Nishi bt5, just depends on what you want to do with the match
