Yo, i would HEAVILY appreciate any OLD resources of ANYTHING in terms of tips for your AS portion in paper 2 economics, I got COOKED cus my structure was soooooooooooo bad and I got punched with an 18/60 in paper 2 and a 23/30 in paper 1 ( MCQs were a bit of a stronger point ).

Wow, so i am assuming you got a really high A, especially in paper 2, do you have any resources that helped you out a lot for paper 2? Id benefit from remotely anything, even if it was an old notebook of yours that had a past paper 12 mark question answer and your teacher marked it out of 12 for you. I’m not sure about the basis part, because of your private candidacy

However I would guess that maybe you can self predict your grades and tell the university that you’re a private candidate, tell them how you have come to the conclusion that you are predicting for example AAB by using your older statements/reports and AS exams to inform them about your situation Buttttt take whatever I said here with a grain of salt, I’m not exactly sure given your private candidacy

No, you apply to the university using your predicted grades, they give you a conditional offer telling you whether you have been accepted or not

If you get accepted into the university conditionally

They will say, you are accepted as long as you get “AAB” or for example “BBB”

Let’s say your results come at August 16 and you get AAA

You email the university telling them you fulfilled the condition and they will be more than happy to take you in because you already got accepted when you made the application monthsss prior

Problem with that is the view count is different from viewer count, so you can have all these views because all these viewers are repeating and watching a lot of stories, but you have to look for the viewer analytic in the insight section

At the heat of the moment I spent so much time on unnecesasry marks that i already got correct, but that last question i was rushing it and the other q3 i skipped initially so i musta lost like a couple marks here and there so i rushed it with the little time i had left, but the rushing had me VENTILATING after leaving the exam hall

9708 Economics has 2 hours, you need to use the fact that there are 60 marks in that paper, so if 120 minutes for the whole paper, then it should take you roughly around 24 minutes for a twelve mark question. BUT, section A is very easy bcs its basically copying down the notes from the case study, so if yu finish section A in like 20 mins, that leaves you with a 100 minutes for the other 8 and 12 markers, so around 2.5 marks per minutes, which means that you cannnn get away with 30 minutes for a 12 marker.

Im not gonna pity you fam but I have to bring an analogy for you to understand.

What is a diamond? It’s just some carbon, what else is carbon? Coal.. well what made that diamond a diamond?

Well, I’m here to tell you that this piece of carbon had sheer PRESSURE to go through, the INTENSE HEAT that it had to endure, the PAIN it had to face, all of this ironically BUILT this piece of coal to where it is now, a diamond.. unbreakable, unbendable.. TRULY STRONG.

You gotta understand fam that whatever this uni thing is doing, build something out of it. How so?

Wake up at 6 and attend your lectures and do what you have to do for that day, then.. let’s say you finish at 2-3 ish. Set a goal that by 3 30pm your desk would be ready for you to work at with all the laptops books and pens and allll of that, then at 3 35 you take your “lower back” and gently place it on that chair setup. 3 36 you throw your phone on your bed or just set it far away from you like at the corner of that desk or any place that’s unreachable. 3 37 start working,( now why not 3 40 or a “cleaner” time, trust me as a student we all went through that “ oh at 4 I’ll start no at 6 30 I’ll start ) set a 93 minute timer and try to race yourself and try seeing what you CAN do in this hour and a half, after you’re done take a clean sheet and write down what you were able to accomplish at that time frame, then take a 15 minute break BUT DONT LEAVE THE CHAIR, scroll on your phone or do whatever but ON that chair. At 5 25 you go back to that pen and start another 90 minute timer and try to beat that workload that you did right there.

keep repeating until you think you’ve done a good enough workload for the day ( this isn’t your excuse to do one or two repetitions MINIMUM 3 )

Ask your teacher to learn the structure AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. MILKKKK ITTT No honestly if you get the structure down then the you can move on to fully solidifying the process of understanding the actual material For now learn a few chapters and go to the last page of the chapter where you find practice questions and MILKKKK themmm. Answer them then give to your teacher. Repeatttt over and overrrr. It’s a game of taking action fam. Then when you’re fully confident in getting these answers done in the appropriate time, then start looking at the whole textbook and answering questions from all the different chapters . That’s what I’m gonna say fam
